I've had the good luck to speak to Chris Charming via Match.Com last week, he approached me on the site. Apparently he is looking for a companion and so we went back and forth via email and then he said to me that he's a big porn star!! Maybe trend wasn't the right word. It's just out of the ordinary for a high profile male performer to take a strap on. There are quite a few female/male dom vids, but most are gay nobody performers. I guess the trend would be a trend if Manuel, Julian, the Pirate, etc. starting taking the strap on.

Yeah, I guess the reason I mention Christian is that he is one of the most in-demand male performers today, and he was doing strap-on before he became quite so popular. He made the "transition" (for lack of a better term) in a way that lesser performers only wish they could. I see guys get threads like this as if they are breaking new ground, and they forget about some of the hottest talent today who are already doing it (i.e. Christian!)
I was under the impression that he started out doing tranny-porn, then did strap-on scenes, and _then_ made his way to "regular" straight porn. Still, a noteworthy achievement, may he be lauded for it!

and i am actually quite surprised that more females in the business dont have me on their no list. i have only encountered about 5 that i know of, and i want to thank all of the directors and female performers for giving me a chance in this business. i am not going anywhere for a long time.
as for the strap on thing, i have done probably 20 scenes in the last year. lockwood has done 2. but i understand that he is a much more established performer. i like kurt a lot. but it makes me laugh when tristan taormino and devinn lane proclaim him as the first a-list male performer to do strapon stuff. its an insult to tom byron.
I'd rather be surprised by a strap-on scene, than the rough stuff that became the norm in Gonzo during the last couple of years. We can agree on the HMA rimming, though. Ick.
