I just got her book (Lights, Camera, Sex) in the mail. I guess the unsatisfying Traci Lords book prompted me to see if this one's any better.

Then I realized that I don't have any DVDs with Christy in them. Shocking. And then I realized I couldn't think of any specific movie I remember loving.

Maybe I liked her in theory more than in practice, I don't know. Anyone want to recommend a title to start rekindling that interest?

What lovely mounds she had!

I like her scenes she did with
Peter North. Can't recall the
titles.

I really loved Christy Canyon when she first entered the business. Unfortunately, many of her early movies also starred Traci Lords and, therefore, are not available in the U.S.

However, "People's Choice: Christy Canyon vs. Ginger Lynn" contains many of the Christy and Ginger scenes from movies that they were in with Traci. So, even though it's a compilation, it's a compilation with many scenes that won't be found anywhere else.

ObiBong,

Most of Christy's best early videos are either not currently available or are available only on VHS. However, two DVD's that I would recommend are "Evil Angel" from Classic X (I believe this was one of John Stagliano's first videos and the origin of his company's name) and "Black Throat" from VCA (Dark Bros.).

Actually, Excalibur has quite a few of her early titles on DVD. The quality is not excellent, but they exist.

Not to be argumentative, Bill, but I don't count very many DVDs of Christy's early videos (as opposed to her "comeback" Vivid features and various compilations DVDs) on Excalibur's list. Christy made a lot of videos back in her "early" period, including for Bruce Seven and Michael Carpenter.

After perusing Excalibur's list of Christy's DVDs, I'd add the following 6 DVDs to my previous suggestions: "Fantasy World", "Gang Bangs" (Stagliano), "Hypnotic Sensations", "Sore Throat", "Sinful Pleasures", and "Sinfully Yours". I haven't seen the DVD transfers of these videos, but the VHS versions contain classic "young Christy Canyon".

Well, I own 9 Christy DVD's from Excalibur of movies that Christy did prior to her first "retirement". I also have a compilation from them of her scenes from this era.

Nobody else sells any of these discs. I know that 9 is a drop in the bucket when you compare it to the number of movies that she made. But when you compare it to the number of her movies from this era that are otherwise available on DVD, 9 is a large number.
