You see it in other threads devoted to performers where as soon as personal stuff comes up, arguments ensue, it derails and before you know it you're not even talking about the performer's scenes anymore. I've seen it numerous times, threads get so bad that they get closed down, all because of arguing about said performer's personal life. I do not want this and I'm sure nobody else wants this either, but the longer this pointless to-and-fro'ing about War Machine continues the more likely it's going to happen. I've tried several times to get this thread back on track and yet it still keeps going off-track. I've bitten my tongue up until now after seeing several efforts falling on deaf ears, so yeah, seeing it yet again reverting back to bloody War Machine, I expressed some frustration. I'm not saying this talk about War Machine is irrelevant, because it is, especially given his apparent history. But it's sensitive nature is causing arguments and generally making the thread a tense place to come to, which is not how a fan's thread about the actual performer should feel like. If it means so much to some people to vent - which quite clearly it does judging by the last few pages being dominated by it - surely somebody should start an 'Anti War Machine' thread and discuss his life there. That way everybody can still discuss him, how much they hate him or whatever, and this thread in the meantime can stay on topic for the fans to talk just about Christy and her actual work.
