I ran across the name Shauna Grant today. In doing so, I was thoroughly impressed with the beauty of this classic porn star. It made me wonder how girls today stack up against girls from different eras. I am inclined to say that girls today are either too thick, too thin or too artificial. With very few exceptions do women in porn have a natural and well proportioned "classic beauty." I am curious to hear peoples' opinions on this issue.
There are a few out there, but the one that I think is exceptional pretty and could truely be a model would be Simony Diamond. Hot, hot girl.

The sheer number of girls who pass through the ever-revolving doors of porn these days mean there are girls for every taste out there. If you can't find someone in the porn world today who you think is the equal of Shauna Grant in terms of your standard of physical beauty then you're just not looking. But to give you some hints to start I would suggest that Sabine Mallory, Melissa Lauren, Sandy, Monica Sweet, and Charlotte Stokely could all be described as classically beautiful.
Does she meet your criteria? If so, maybe I can offer up some suggestions. To me, this girl represents the quintessential "classic beauty" with her refined facial-features and perfectly proportioned body, minus the blistering red-hair of course which is very avant-garde.
I think there are a greater number of very attractive women now than there were before. Some eras were very low in truely hot women, I think of them as down periods for the industry. It is a personal viewpoint.
Percentagewise though, things may be pretty even. A lot of those Eastern European women could be models though.
"Classic Beauty" seems to be a very subjective phrase. At least to me. If you really, really liked a certain starlet, wouldn't you be inclined to lay such a phrase on her anyway? Would, say, Gauge qualify? And if you couldn't stand Gauge (perish the thought!) would you reply, "Aw, you gotta be kidding!"
I think there's a Hollywood quotient at work with the phrase "Classic Beauty" as opposed to "girl-next-door beauty" (pixieish) or "Exotic Beauty" (Polynesian).
I would guess that the most common connotation of the phrase refers to slender, tallish women with conventional good looks, conservatively stylish hair and adroitly applied makeup.
Shauna Grant would make the cut under these conditions as would Veronica Hart and Susan McBain in their heyday.
There are natural beauties in every eras. If you like Shauna (yes, she was amazing), check out Megan Leigh a little later in the 80's, or Monique Alexander, Kristen price or Malezia now.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of Monique Alexander. She's a beautiful girl. It actually cracks me up how she doesn't get very much mention on this board, even now that she's been doing boy/girl for over a year. I'm sure this is because she hasn't totally debased herself in a manner that most posters to this site seem to prefer. Good for her!
Classic beauty to me is a woman who's pictures and films stand the test of time, a woman, who when she walks into a room or onto a film set, everybody stops to looks at her. So in the mainstream world classic beauty's would be the likes of Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly to name a couple, who even now when you look at pictures taken of them 50 years ago you see the beauty. Within the adult film world there are, and have been, many beautiful woman but i can only think of one, in my humble opinion, who i would call classic, who had that something special about her and that is Ashlyn Gere.
There are alot of quite goodlooking girls working nowadays, but classical beauties? I believe that that term relates to the old Hollywood where beauty was paired with glamour and mystery. And there is nto much left to the imagination or mysterious about the way a porn star is presenting herself, so classical beauty is quite rare.
Personally, for me when it comes to the face alone, there is noone like the Godess of the Golden Age Of Porn, Seka.
I only saw her in a scene with John Holmes and in spite of the heavy 70s make up and styling I found her remarkable beautiful.
I was always wondering how Misty Rain could ALWAYS look so perfect ! She is 36 years old now (born in August, 1969 I think) and still has a perfect natural body. In my eyes she's a true American Beauty Queen.
