I have all ready checked out Seka, Aunt Peg, Nina Hartley, Sharon Kane, and Elle De Vyne. I liked what I saw in each case, but I wasn't compelled to stock up on rentals from them. Summer Rose and Lili Marlene aren't for me, judging from pics. Kimberly looks impressive, but Janey Robbins! Thank you for bringing her to my attention. Dyanna Lauren I have actually stayed away from simply because I can't figure out which films I should check out and am unclear on her implants (did she have them her whole career? how good did they look in action?). Thanks for the list, Walter. I know some of the names there. I just saw Anna Ventura for the first time yesterday in DMJ 2. Wow! The problem I have a lot with this kind of stuff is I find classic girls that are just super hot and I've got to see them. So, I check out IAFD and find their filmography and head over to the rental sites only to find that there are like 3 or 4 rentals available now for a girl who did 30+ scenes in her career (bluedoor.com is a pretty good source to alleviate this, but they don't have monthly plans and have bad shipping costs). So, I'll be forced to check out one of those Alpha Blue Archive comps., which mostly suck because they frequently replace the original soundtrack of classic scenes with shitty music so you can't even hear your favorite girl moan. I saw an Annette Haven Swedish Erotica scene that was great with sound and that same scene was on the Alpha comp. with music playing over everything.

Incidentally, currently I enjoy the busty, voluptuous bodies of Sarah Stone, Vanessa Michaels, Jessica "BR" Sweet, and Avy Scott (too bad Gia Paloma, Sammie Rhodes, and Missy Monroe had to lose so much weight). On my own, I have looked at Alicia Monet, Angela Summers, Erica Boyer, Paula Price (and her sister), Kelly Royce, Alicyn Sterling, and Sarah Jane Hamilton. Bridgette Monroe did come back using the name Hunter for awhile. I just saw something that was released last year where she used Bridgette. She was AKA Paulina Down as far back as 1990. Not sure if she is currently active.

DMJ 2 is probably one of the worst movies to watch if you're looking for Anna. Two of her best are "Bad Girls" (billed as Jasmine DuBois), which is the movie in which I "discovered" her and "Never Sleeps Alone".

There's also a comp disc "Anna Ventura - Ultra 80's Glamour Slut", that has Anna in every scene. It's not great as far as technical quality goes, but it's definitely one worth owning if you are a fan of Anna.

"Daddy's Little Girls" isn't bad either. But it's not as good as the 3 that I have listed above.

I've noticed that we tend to have similar views when it comes to porn stars we find attractive.

I would, therefore, recommend that you check out two of my ATFs: Lauren Hall and Vanessa D'Oro. Neither made much more than a double-handful of flicks before retiring. Vanesa D'Oro (Tammy Lane in a Penthouse shoot) was active in the mid-80s, Lauren Hall in the early 90s. Vanessa is a petite, built-like-a-brick-shithouse brunette who, though she only took one facial that I'm aware of, did seem to be in more than her share of two-guy scenes. Lauren is simply one of the most beautiful brunettes ever to do porn, IMHO.

It's a shame that they did not leave us much to remember them by.

Wow! She looks so good on that cover that I have to see it, despite knowing that since it is a late 70s film it might suck just as much it might be good. Now, I don't know much about Jean. I know that she had a short career in the mid to late 70s. However, I look at that cover and think that Jean is a rare beauty in that she could/should have been a superstar in the industry in any era. I would have loved to have seen her in Buttman films in the 80s/early 90s, or in gonzo stuff today.

Sorry. I didn't know how else to describe my question. I'm asking for advice on porn stars from as late as the 70s to as recent as the late 90s. You have to remember that outside of some early teen years exposure to Kaitlyn Ashley porn for me began with Taylor St. Claire, from around late 99 on. So, really any girls that came before her are new to me. Hell, I only recently "discovered" Juli Ashton and when I first saw her my thought was, "Hey, that's the girl from 'Orgazmo'!".

There are only a couple of active girls that I like (Taryn, Kinzie, Karina, Sarah, Faith, and Sunny), and until these gonzo-features start coming out if I want something closer to erotica I am not going to find it in most of today's product. To see Alicyn Sterling in a good scene, try Blow Job Betty , where she works with a young Rocco--normally a rather reserved performer, she is really outstanding here. Oddly, most of the girls from that period, including Selena Steele, Flame, PJ Sparx, etc. shot their best scenes with Siffredi.

Another thing that occurs to me about name-dropping female performers is this: they tend to fall into two varieties, the name stars who had lengthy careers, and the hidden B-list girls, who made a few scenes in notable productions and then vanished forever. Aficianados tend to seek out and prefer the latter; girls like Anna Ventura, Lenora Bruce, Dorothy Oh, Crystal Holland, Jacy Allen, Cynthia Brooks, Crystal Breeze, Tina Ross (who died), Mona Page, Tiffany Blake, Martina (from EWHAF I), Laura Lazare, Tanya Lawson, April May, Jennifer Noxt, Mindy Rae, Gina Valentino, Gina Martell, and of course Ali Moore (and this is all just between 1982 and 1985).

From the same period, you might like Tina Marie and Brooke Fields. From a little earlier, you might like Loni Sanders. Bridgette Monet is what Taylor St. Claire might have been had she worked in another era. Nicole Noir (Black) has always appealed to me, although her performances could be great or insipid. From the late 1980's, you should definitely try to find Vanassa D'Oro. From the mid-1990's, a girl you might like is Tatiana; you might also check out Taylor Hayes. Also, if you like Haley Paige (and who doesn't), you will want to check out Nelli Pierce, who seemed to have a similar fun attitude in front of the camera. And don't forget Katie June, Bunny Luv, Cassidey (at least before she was Cassidey), Nadia Moore, Dee, Blair Segal, Avalon, etc.

A couple of notes-

Ali Moore: Forgive me. I think she is cute, but Ali Moore couldn't act whatsoever. Neither could Desiree Cousteau. However, Desiree (if you liked her) made up for it in the sex scenes. Ali? Not so much.

Tracey Adams: I was a fool to just dismiss her films from 1988 on because she gained weight. She looks amazing with a slightly thicker body and bigger breasts, though the more blonde look in Talk Dirty To Me 6 made her look like a heavier Victoria Paris. At this point, I actually prefer the heavier Tracey Adams. I'm such a sucker for big, natural breasts.

Ron Jeremy: Sad watching the evolution of his weight gain.

Buttman: As far as his films with primarily American girls go, I realize that I have similar taste in women to him. I watch Bend Over Babes 2 or Big Tit Adventures 3 or Wild Goose Chase and one girl after the other I'm left gawking and asking, "Wow! Who's that?"

The 80s Body Vs. 2005: I really like the body type of the average porn star back in the day compared to now.
