I would like to begin a list of classic scenes, legendary snippets from the halls of XRated infamy. And more importantly, why YOU think they were made famous. Now let me precede the discussion by saying the scene/s you mention don't even have to be YOUR favorite scene, i.e. something that "worked" for you or not ... but a scene, a moment, a certain chemistry, an interesting snapshot into the human psyche that is for example, the equivalent to the severed horse head in God Father 2, or Robert Deniro starring into a mirror asking, "You talking to me?". You get the picture. I'll start ............... Hidden Obsessions, Janine, Julia Anne and one very cold dildo. Why was it so famous? Also the way it's shot, good lighting and appropriate dialogue can also move a good movie into the classic arena. I am determined to keep this thread alive hoping to instigate a little intelligent conversation about Xrated movies and specifically scenes that have "touched" some of us ... in one way or another! Good point Saratoga ... a little Hollywood, real acting or the best attempts to, can take a scene from plain old sexy to classic. Also the way it's shot, good lighting and appropriate dialogue can also move a good movie into the classic arena.
I am determined to keep this thread alive hoping to instigate a little intelligent conversation about Xrated movies and specifically scenes that have "touched" some of us ... in one way or another! The restaurant scene in "Barbara Broadcast". Who doesn't wish they could order sex from a menu! These are scenes that I've come back to again for the very reasons stated. They have something special about them, at least for me.
The Ginger Lynn 3way in New Wave Hookers. The classic Dark Bros blue and red lighting, the dark warehouse look, the sweat on her lips, smoke, the camera angles, just a scene for the ages!

Or are there are better examples of that genre out there? Outlaw Ladies. The whole film is a classic but the scene that turned me on was John Leslie fucking Veronica Hart in the ass. The setup made my heartbeat because I was around 16 when I first saw it. Henri Pachard has done some great films but this is one of his best.

Okay, here's a good example of a classic scene that changed the porn front from 1993 onwards; for good or bad is up for discussion and opinion (another thread perhaps?).

For my interests and taste, that would be when it all turned bad, then. I never liked the bad dialog or dumb situations, but I liked the cinematography, and I liked the relatively more realistic sex. I still see some of the old movies that are new to me and think, wow! And I see new stuff and think "yuk."
I don't want a world solely of one and none of the other. But I'd like to see more of a balance between the two.
