I'm a fan of classic porno movies from the 70's late 80's era where there used to be storylines and some acting even if the sex wasn't so good. I have seen the big films like Taboo, Misty Beethoven, Private Teacher, Deep Throat, Aunt peg etc but I'm wondering if there's anywhere (maybe a thread somewhere) of people discussing or recommending classics cause there are just so many. Some of my favourites that are available on good quality DVD or blu-ray: Sex World (just came out!) V: The Hot One 3am Reflections Anna Obsessed Babyface Pretty Peaches Neon Nights Ecstasy Girls Misbehavin' Sexcapades Take Off Odyssey Through the Looking Glass (hopefully a good quality version will be put out by Vinegar Syndrome as both releases currently available aren't great, but it's a terrific film) Kinkier and darker stuff: Femmes De Sade/Waterpower (WP is cut a bit but still very strong stuff and both films look great and are landmarks) The Taking of Christina Defiance of Good Affairs of Janice Corruption That's just to start, I'd say. I work in this damn business and find myself a little overwhelmed sometimes. We have over 800 films defined as classics on our retail site - so yeah. There's a lot to wade through. Granted, we've included a few from the 90's and even early 2000's (remember, hardcore porn only became legal in the UK in 2001), so our site ends up skewing a bit on occasion. However, we also have a sub-section on our site called Top Classics, and there's only 22 titles in there. Our product manager (and prolific ADT poster) Jacco oversees that category. There might be a few in there you've missed. Jacco has a good eye for this stuff, so it might be worth a look. Top Classics at Your Choice As far as 90's stuff, I wasted way too much time in the office watching Dirty Books a few weeks ago. Here's the ADT Page for it It's got this low-budget, but made with love kind of feel to it. :) I loved it! [Link]
