My other two orders were under $250 and didnt get touched by customs. Australian customs are very unlikely to confiscate anything that is legal in the US. | scipio Senior Member 1901 Posts 2/00 | Posted - Nov 16 2002 : 8:42PM Aust customs -should not- touch anything with a declared value of less than AU$500 as it's customs policy to not charge GST unless they can collect AU$50. Of course, the "value" of the package also includes the postage/shipping costs for some odd reason. Yes, we're required to pay local Tax on postage charges that were charged and spent overseas. Earlier this year, and for much of last year I used to make fairly regular orders from fivestar that came to AU$300-$380 I haven't had anything seized, though since I'm not interested in any of those sorts of things, I havent had any experiences there.
