I was recently surfing our beloved web in some nefarious places and came across the Nevada brothel site. I clicked on PORN STARS out of curiousity and here came up a list of names I had never heard of.
Then down at the bottom came Jeannie Rivers name. And I sure know her. It said that Jeannies been a regular at one of the houses since 2000. How did I miss this?
But I have to admit I have mixed feelings. A part of me wants to head to the bank and take out a home equity loan and get on the next plane to Vegas. Another part of me is kinda repulsed. I haven't been able to watch a Sunset Thomas video since she started camping out at the Bunny Ranch - not that I'm likely missing much.

You may see a distinction, but look at it from their point of view: they're selling their sex for money either way, and there are plenty of "lowlifes" in porn. There are probably exhibitionists who won't do it without a camera rolling but for many of the women, once they've made those big bucks in porn it's kinda hard to see how else to maintain the lifestyle they've grown accustomed to. Women like Asia Carrera, Daniella Rush and Leanni Lei aren't all that common in porn, ya know.
I will admit to being surprised at some of the women who have chosen to work at the bunny ranch but in the end how can you say pornography is right but prostitution is wrong. While they are not the same thing they are still someone exercising their rights to do what they please with their bodies. To me the argument for and against things like prostitution/pornography/abortion are all the same. A person should have the right to do with their bodies whatever they want as long as it is between consenting adults.
I've had the pleasure of a few porn stars (not in the Bunny ranch). So are excellent, some not so good.
I don't see how much different sex as an escort is any different to sex as a performer on screen. If anything, more girls are unwilling to have sex on film, so it can be kept on display for the world to see.
I actually like the fact that being with some of my favorite stars is a possibility.
I also realize how full of shit I am when I think "Boy, what I would give to be with her". Now that it's possible, I won't even consider dropping $1000 for an hour with one of my favorite stars.

Jeannie Rivers, while pretty cute looking in porn isn't cute enough to make me spend a thousand to screw her, no matter HOW gorgeous I might have thought she looked in some porn movie. I do imagine that if Tera Patrick did escort work, and I have a couple grand to take her out, while the thought is enticing, the reality is that I wouldn't because that's just too damned much money to spend on some poon-tang. Money is better spent with your friends having fun than having some expensive fun with a glorified hooker. With my friends, we've had this conversation, and all things considered, if money wasn't an issue, we weren't involved with someone (like a wife, girlfriend, etc) and certain diseases weren't an issue, then yea, it would be fun, but you can't live in the "Wishful thinking" world of make believe. I'd much rather spend the cash on my wife than a woman that makes her living in porn.

75% or more of the porn stars today escort. Everyone you can name does it, past and present. NinaHartley, Keisha, Miko Lee, Jeanna Fine, Angelica Costello, the list is way too big to name them all. Especially the older girls that have a hard time getting hired for porn work, the companies always want the newest youngest girls (something I don't always agree with). All you have to do is check out erosguide.com and check the listings for escorts in L.A., New York, and Las Vegas. All the porn stars are listed there as escorts. They use their work in porn as a way to charge guys $1000-$3000 per bang. They can also get large coin on the dancing circuit if they are a well known porn star. Especially up here in Canada. At a strip joint up here called the Whiskey every week it's a different porn star dancing and they get paid very large coin up here to dance at the club for a week or two.
My question is mainly to M.B.,but anyone can chime in.

Although I have not seen the site you are referring to, it's probably for legal reasons, why would someone pay $1500 to meet a star when they could do the same at any strip club or porn convention. These girls are obviously escorting, they just don't want to say it and make it easy for the cops to bust them on the ads alone. Also, when you are on erosguide.com you can also try looking at the "visiting" section for a city, especially for New York City and sometimes Vegas. A lot of porn stars will fly out to New York City from L.A. for a few weeks and advertise there that they will be visiting the city so that you can set up a "date" with them. New York usually has the most "visiting" ads, Vegas has some too.
My understanding is that most porn stars who escort will not typically do business with someone that they meet at a club (too much chance that it's a cop trying to bust them).
By working through an agency, I think that the girls are more protected in that the financial arrangement is taken care of between the customer and the agency (not the porn star herself).
I think you may have misunderstood my post. I meant that no one would pay $1500 just to meet the girl and not have sex with them. They can do that at a club or convention.
