Senior Member 1679 Posts 2/01 |  Posted - Oct 15 2002 : 1:37PMI don't usually heap praise on a movie like this, but I have seen at least over 1000 porns in my time, and I would have to say that Fashionistas is the best porn I have ever seen bar none. I have no complaints at all (well, maybe the scene where Manuel Ferrera does a girl in the back of the club rough could have had a better looking girl instead of the one they used) but other than that, it's the best i've seen by far. It's got long scenes but still has a story, it's shot on film but looks so good it's like you are watching a feature film or television. Some great fetish with rubber, bondage, rough sex all over the damn place. An awesome g/g scene with Taylor and Belladonna. Belladonna churns out three of the best scenes I have seen in a long time (1 g/g, 1 g/b/b and a scene with Rocco). I just can't say enough about this film. Take the best gonzo you have seen, put a story to it, and shoot it on film that looks very cool, with awesome fetish gear (lots of rubber), lots of bondage, and great rough sex, and you've got yourself a winner. Why didn't anybody do a movie like this earlier? It's everything that Ass Collector wasn't. Ass Collector had very short sex scenes (6 or 7 minutes long) and had some dude running around dressed like a woman, but didn't look at all like a woman. I think Rocco would have been better off if he used a real transsexual to play the part of the Ass Collector, I'd rather watch a real transsexual fuck girls than some dude dressed as a girl that looks nothing like one. I think he was shooting for the Silence Of The Lambs thing, but it didn't work very well (for my liking anyway) I can't wait for the Fashionistas dvd to come out, I'm curious to see what kind of extras etc. Evil Angel has planned for this release. Evil Angel has relly outdone themselves with this one. Extremely well done movie. The best ever, hands down. I've been waiting for someone to mix the two genres successfully (gonzo and feature). John Stagliano has done it and done it better than I've ever seen it before. If this movie does not win best of the year in every category something is very wrong. Combines gonzo and big budget porn perfectly, the sound was feature film like, the picture is pristine, and this was on vhs. Imagine what the dvd will sound and look like. It is one of a kind. The film was transferred directly to DigiBeta, and we will be mastering back to DigiBeta for encoding to DVD. So I think we'll be pretty thrilled with the picture. Of course we're going to keep a top-notch bit rate. Glad you liked it! So much of the sex in this movie comes directly from inside John and I. It was totally our baby all the way, and we're going to treat the DVD the same way! If you like the idea of great sex set into a story, you might want to check out (rent if you don't want to purchase) Buda, or on a lesser story-level, Face Dance Obsession. They were shot on video, not film, and don't have bondage, but they do have the great sex set around a story element. The first has Rocco. The second has Nacho Vidal. Enough said! We were going to wait until February, but I've dropped ALL other projects until this is done. Adventures of Buttman and Buttman at Nudes a Poppin' 13 have both been postponed so I can focus completely on The Fashionistas DVD set. [Link] |
