I know there's already a thread, but I'm hoping you will all humor me and consicely (but in detail) list if you were able to load the disc in your player(s), and if it played - if there was any pixellation and/or freezing. Also, if you played this disc fine, please also post so I can get a perspective on all of this.
This is all very overwhelming, and I appreciate all the help that I have always received from all you guys. We are communicating very closely with our authorer and replicator. I want to get the bottom of this ASAP, for all of us!
I'll start: At Evil Angel, we tried it in a Sony 300series, an RCA, a DVD-Rom on a HP computer with WinDVD software. All of these loaded the discs fine and did not encounter any major pixellation, and no freezing of the video at any point. Finally, we tried in a Pioneer333, and we could get NO copy of Flesh Hunter 2 to load at all.

Okay Tricia,
Since I started the previous thread on problems with FH2, I will start the ball rolling. I have problems accessing the menu. It does not want to start, but I can sometimes access the start menu by pressing guide. The DVD will then play through the chapter menu to about a bit through the Jeanne River's scene and then either freeze, go back to the beginning of the chapter, or stop reading the entire DVD. There is a bit of pixellation in the Jeanne River chapter. I cannot access any of the special features or anything past the first Jeanne River's chapter.
My DVD player is an old RCA with DIVX (the circuit city nonsense). I have not bothered to try on an IBM laptop and an IBM desktop that I have access to (but are not mine). I also have not tried to use rubbing alcohol as the scene I wanted most was Shyla's and I can usually access that Shyla's chapters.

All good on the western front here Tricia....just watched it for the 3rd time (review coming).
In my DVD-ROM, Gateway, it works fine, after I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol, which is how I got to finish that review.
In my standalone player, the picture freezes, goes to pixelation, goes to black and then stops all together about the beginning of Jeannie's scene. I don't really bother with chapters, so I can't tell you right now exactly where it stops, but I can later...
I haven't tried it on my dad's DVD player, because somehow I don't think he'll want to want to watch this film.
-I also noticed that DVDempire, where I bought the disc, has it listed as pre-order. So I will wait for the problem to be rectified before I exchange it.
Mine was a rental, so I cant go back to check on things that I will be telling you that I don't know. I was the first person to rent the disc, so it was not an issue of someone else returning a dirty disc. I also rented it before this became a public problem, so I didn't think testing lots of other things when I had these problems.
I had pixelization and freeze-ups in the Alexa Rae scene on a Panasonic RP-56 (both with progressive scan enaged ans disengaged). All other scenes played fine. I don't know about any of the extras.
I also had the same problems with the Alexa Rae scene with a Toshiba SD-5109. I don't know about anything besides this scene, because I went straight to that chapter after having the problem with the Panasonic.
This scene DID work on a Pioneer DV-F727 mega-changer. Once again, I didn't check any of the other scenes, because I had already seen them before having problems with the Panasonic. The "Behind the Scenes" and "Extra Sex" sections also worked fine on this machine.
If there are any other specific things that you would like me to check on any or all of the machines, let me know. The guys at the video store will give me the disc back if it will help.

Hey Tricia,
When you get to the bottom of the problem, could you please post the cause of the problem? I am curious to know where the problem lies, and why some players can play the DVD, others stop after during the Jeanie River scene, and others cannot play at all. Is it related to the coding of the menu or the track location?
