Hell, I LIKE Savannah Gold, and have grown weary of Alexis Texas' act, yet I still get the chuckles at the silliness of that statement. In my opinion, Savannah Gold is an enthusiastic, reasonably energetic, porn girl, but she doesn't have anywhere near the on-screen physical presence and personality of Alexis Texas or Sunny Lane. And the ability to move people that goes with those qualities. Savannah Gold does her thing and fills out a cast nicely, but there is nothing about her that says "star". Maybe in England, but not here in America. Hell, here in America, you could put Savannah in a lineup with the million other blonde, augmented, collagend, porn girls, and not be able to pick her out of the line. Sorry, Savannah is a nice girl, but she just ain't got Alexis' physical attractiveness, or Sunny's charisma the way they come across on screen, and her doing anal, or IR, or anything else ain't gonna give her those things. At this point we're mostly getting compilations and repackaged internet content on DVD from them so any genuinely new material is a welcome sight and talk of anal or IR seems moot. Besides, if Sunny does anal we'll all most likely know well in advance. Maybe losing the big one at AVN two years in a row will motivate her into playing that long held anal card this year in order to truly be a Performer of the Year.
