All new Motion Animation for all title and Menu screens, this feature will make the normally mundane task of loading and waiting for menus etc, much more pleasent.

Thanks for the heads - up JKRULL! It's great to hear that you actually read our reviews and that they are making a difference in the future quality of DVDs. Although I haven't been thrilled with some of the Adam & Eve DVDs in the past, this post really makes me think highly of Adam & Eve. The features you mentioned sound great and I'm really looking forward to seeing them!

Thank you very much for the detailed release information. Also it's great to know that Adam and Eve is reading and acting on our reviews.
My thoughts on extras:
Maybe I'm the only one, but I don't even look at photo galleries.
Also could just be me, but I don't think I would need the Hot Shot Feature.
I like simple, easy-to-use menus.
I LOVE behind the scenes, interviews, bloopers - basically candid footage of any kind.
I find cast bios very helpful.
Trailers make sense for everyone - you get to advertise - we get to see what's coming.
Commentaries can be fantastic if they're informative and/or funny

Hi Steph
I should have elaborated on the Hot Shot a little more-it originally I hought it would be cool to have on one scene, like we did in scens 7 of "Caribbean". I received so much feedback on it, I was very surprised.
Hardly surprising, just about all the guys thought it was great, and asked if we could put it on every scene- they liked be able to get directly into the best part, without having to sit through stories etc.
Many of the Women couldn't of cared less, in fact many (Like Saki) said it was just a pain.
So, we made it easier to access, for when you only have a minute....
I agree with you on the photo gallery, maybe either to showcase one person or concept.
I never look at the Galleries of other companies product.
BUT- the consumer companies at Adam & Eve seem to really dig them.
I think we are a little jaded though!

Well done! Let me be another to support your improvements. You can send me any of these up and coming titles and I promise to review them fairly and honestly.
I agree that the photo gallery extra is a waste of time. Trailers are great, bio's, deleted scenes, bloopers, etc, add real value and will set your product way above your competitors at this time.

Dinner Party is coming back to DVD?
Happy happy happy!!!
(Darkmage now does the patented Porno Pleasure Dance, consisting of two parts jitterbug, three parts waltz, and a splash of mosh pit)
Glad to hear it! Both of the next two reviews I have in the pipeline are Adam & Eve productions. Watch for 'em.
I will be as brutally honest as I can.

Thanks DARKMAGE
Your statement "Dinner Party is coming back to DVD?" says it all. The current DVD does not do the title justice. Ultimate fans have been asking for a new DVD for quite some time.
I am going to re-do Snow Leopard next, one of the biggest Adult productions ever, while the current version has been a huge seller, and has gotten very strong reviews, (basically
perfect scores from every one) I want to give the serious collector a version that emulates the production quality of the movie.
I am proud to of gotten you happy enough to do "The Porno Pleasure Dance" I have feeing by the end of the week, everyone at Adam & Eve will know all about. I think it will be a new part of my vocabulary.
I have read your reviews- you seem to be very fair. Where do I send the check?

All reality checks may be made out to:
Happy Hairy Hardon
Darkmage, Inc.
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, DC 20001
Trust me, the residents at this address need a reality check in the worst way. Won't you please help?
You're going to re-do Snow Leopard? I don't know how you're going to make it better, but I'm keen to see the results. Keep up the good work!

I watched the Adam & Eve Fire & Ice Premium Collection Saturday night. I'm, hoping to have time to write up the review today or tomorrow. For now, it's one of the best DVDs I've seen from Adam & Eve (sorry, but it's been forever since I've looked at Snow Leopard, so I can't compare). The behind the scenes adds a lot to the personalities of the cast. The audio and video is great too. Except for a couple small spots, it's one of the clearest and best sounding DVDs I've watched in a long time. The only thing that could have made it better would be a commentary. Thanks a lot JK. This is better than 80% of the DVDs out there.

Glad to hear that THE DINNER PARTY will finally be re-released with a new transfer. It is one of my favorites, and I did write a bitchy mini-review on Adult DVD Empire. Mike B, one of the guys in charge over there, did mention to me that Adam & Eve cares about what customers think, so we all appreciate your update on what is going on with A & E.
By the way, does Ultimate own any of the rights to release HIDDEN OBSESSIONS or any of the other Andrew Blake titles on DVD?

I think Blake himself owns the rights to Hidden Obsessions. The VHS tape I have was released through his Studio A Entertainment label.
I'm joining the line of people waiting for the Dinner Party re-release because the original DVD wasn't even good enough to use as a coaster. Adam & Eve should do the honourable thing and offer free upgrades like Evil Angel did with their early disasters, unless they're planning to become the Anchor Bay of the porn world by capitalising on their own mistakes.

Hidden Obsessions is owned by Andrew, he retained rights as part of his agreement when he split form Ultimate.
WANDERER-
An interesting idea- and I will consider. The huge numbers make it a difficult proposition,(don't know about replacing 50,000 units) however, your point is well taken. I will give it some serious thought.
And come back to the forum with some ideas as we get closer to release date, still a few months away.
are you entitled to a replacement coaster?
That is the real question!

Wanderer - I understand where you're coming from, but the current Dinner Party DVD costs less than $10 - and with the a price like that the volume of discs out there must be huge. It's unfair to compare the situation to Evil Angel's.
JK - Perhaps some sort of coupon for those who have the first version towards the new collector's edition? as I'm sure the collector's edition will be more expensive than the current version.

Steph,
I have to disagree with you there. The Dinner Party may be less than $10 now, but I believe that I paid about $25 for it when it first came out (before discovering ADT). So I would have to say that this situation is identical to that of Evil Angel. A sub par quality disc at full price.
I can tell you that, even though I personally had problems getting replacements from the company that Evil Angel contracted with to replace discs from them, I have absolutely no concerns buying an EA title immediately upon release because I know that if there is a problem with the disc, they will do the right thing.
A company who re-releases a title because the quality is poor, and does nothing for the people who got screwed by buying that title, is basically telling people who bought the title "Fuck you, it's not our fault that you were stupid enough to buy the disc in the first place".
If Adam & Eve doesn't do something to replace these discs, I think that I will be very leery to ever buy an Adam & Eve title again.

I will respectfully disagree. How long was it from when Evil Angel first released the bad DVDs to when they started replacing them?
Dinner Party has been out & about since roughly June of last year. Yeah, the image is sub-par for DVD, but how many of you guys out there own a copy of the Die Hard Trilogy? Or Highlander: Director's Cut?
What about Stargate? Did you whine and plead for a free upgrade to the collector's edition when it came out? What about Terminator 2: Ultimate Edition? Did you get store credit for your old copy?
The Dinner Party is on just about every online vendor's top seller list, and has stayed there despite the film being released to DVD in June of last year. Think about how many copies we're talking about.
If Adam & Eve does offer credit towards the new edition, great! Good for them. But the attitude displayed here is dissapointing, to say the least. Read JKRULL's post again. Newly remastered, new footage, plus whatever surprise he's talking about. This is a brand new DVD, people. This is not just a "fix the transfer & DVD errors" piece of work.
I for one am ecstatic that they are re-visiting this title, fixing the A/V problems and adding new material for the re-release. I love the idea that Adam & Eve has listened to their customers and decided that they could do better by us. The Dinner Party has done very well for them. It has made them a substantial chunk of money. They could just let it slide with a poor transfer and still pull in money because people obviously still want to see it, poor transfer and all. But no! Adam & Eve decided that fixing their mistakes would please you, the discerning porn viewer, and show that they are listening to what you have to say and are acting on that information.
Hey, if you don't want to buy another Adam & Eve product again, go for it. It's your money, you can spend it however you choose. I, on the other hand, am going to pre-order my copy as soon as I can, and watch real carefully whatever else they have coming out soon. Because I am excited about what they have concocted for me. Because I asked for it. And because they delivered.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Evil Angel offer the replacement pretty quick after the originals came out? Also, wasn't the Dinner Party one of the first waves of adult DVDs to come out? With how long the Dinner Party has been out, it would seem unfair to Adam & Eve to make them replace all of the Dinner Party DVDs out there. A lot of mainstream studios are coming out with updated versions of early DVDs now, and none of them have made any kind of offer, with the exception of Disney and their $5 rebate if you own a previous VHS copy of the movie. If Adam & Eve feels obligated to do something like that, it would seem more than fair to me. Just that they realize that they put out a lousy disc a long time ago and is now trying to make things right seems extremely good of them. They could just say that it's a good movie and it's okay since the price is so low now. Thanks again, JK!

So the fact that Evil Angel fixed the problem with their disks quickly, and Adam & Eve took over a year to do it is a reason that Adam & Eve shouldn't make good on the people that they screwed but Evil Angel should? I fail to see the logic in that arguement.
However, you are correct that many mainstream studios have re-released titles. They have also taken a lot of flack for doing so. Di$ney was one of the ones who heard the most complaints. Which might explain for their current rebate. And if you pay attention, the studios have been announcing before a standard version of a DVD is released that a Special Edition is planned for the future (it's been known since DVD was intorduced that Cameron wanted to do a SE of T2 as soon as the technology was at a stage where it could be put onto one disc.
And while I have not gone back to stores to demand a refund when a new version of a disc is released, the fact that it happened certainly makes me think twice about buying a new release from a company who has done this previously.
In this case, the disc is not just being re-released to provide additional footage, it's being re-released because, frankly, the quality sucks. If it was just being re-released to add commentary, a photo gallery, or behind the scenes footage, like Snow Leopard (which I also own), then my attitude would be "who cares" (I really couldn't care less about the "special features" on adult DVD's). But with Dinner Party, that's not the case. Adam & Eve essentially sold an inferior product, which they have basically acknowledged as being so. Because of that, they owe it to the people to whom they sold that inferior product to make good on it.
Note to JKRULL: If you do consider doing some type of replacement, you might want to try contacting Tricia Devereaux at Evil Engel to see what percentage of discs were actually returned for replacement. I would be very surprised to hear that it was a significant percent.
I'm sure that only a very small percentage of the people who bought these titles even knew about the re-release. When I told the owner of the place that I bought one of the EA titles from, he didn't even know about the replacement offer.

Bill-
Dinner Party was produced last April and released in June. Before I arrived we had sold only 300 units, mostly to Gamelink.
I had always priced this product, not based on title but quality.
If you go back to 6/99, (seems like an eternity in DVD) I think you will see very few studios even had DVD, and most that did had an inferior product.
For what I charged for the DVD, it is hard follow your thinking. Despite all the negative comments about the disk, the sales continue to soar, and as it is a 6 year old movie- the VHS quality ain't all that great either.
I speak with Trisha quite often, and this is not the same. As I said, I will come up with something, and I hope you think it is fair.
As Darkmage said we really don't have to do anything, I have received only 135 returns in
a year and a half.
In fact, you can all thank Diesel-his review on the Empire has been sticking with me since the day I read it.
We will do everything we can to make our customers satisfied, A collectors editin of Dinner Party is proving quite challenging-
not easy finding 6 year old footage.

Bill- A follow up. I need to make this clear:
There is nothing wrong with the current Dinner Party Disk. It is simply a linear transfer done in the infancy of DVD technology, of a 6 year old movie. As compared to many titles today, it does not compare in quality. As many things today do not compare to something made over a year ago. It is very simple. The movie is still one of the best ever, and
consumers recognize content is still the most important feature.
I am a bit surprised that there is so much passion behind the subject. I really love it.
FYI- I have had many stores ask that we please keep the current version, and make the new high end version as well. It seems they do not want to lose the sales volumne, and their satisfied customers.
Just today, two online retailers that advertise (here) ordered another 300 pieces.
If represented correctly, and priced correctly the current version, as is- still is better then much of what is out there, in regards to content.
I will issue this GUARANTEE, The FIRST run of the new Version (still a while off, as I said this is not going to be a slam dunk)will be sold to all current wholesale customers at the same price as the current version. Somewhere between 2000 and 5000 units.
Considering the agressive pricing out there,
(How can you buy DREAMQUEST FOR LESS THEN $20.00?) Insane. I am confident that you will be able to buy the new version, old version and Dinner Party 3 for a great price.
I will keep the forum updated, as I said It is great to see so much interest in this title!
Thanks!

April '99 was hardly the infancy of DVD technology. If you said that Dinner Party was manufactured in April '97 then your comments might have more credibility, but the fact is that DVD technology was well established by early last year and there was nothing to prevent you from producing a superior transfer at the time.
VCA produced quality product from day one because they were prepared to spend the necessary amount of money on authoring. I have the original VCA release of Shock dating back to 1997 and it's still one of the best looking porn DVDs around. Private and Metro also manufactured discs to a reasonable standard within the first year of the format. Others tried DVD production on the cheap and that's why 95% of the adult DVDs out there are a disgrace to the format.
I would say there is quite a lot wrong with the current Dinner Party DVD and I find it laughable that you refer to a 6 year old movie as if we are discussing ancient history. Wasn't The Dinner Party shot on film? In which case, the film technology at the time was no worse than that available to porn filmmakers today. I recognise that some of the grain in the picture is source related but that's a natural flaw present in most low budget productions shot on film. It doesn't excuse all the other problems with the picture. Why should it be difficult to find high quality source material for such a recent title?
Apart from a dismal picture transfer, the sound qualiy alone was problematic enough to justify a recall of The Dinner Party. It starts off in muddy, barely audible mono and suddenly switches to abnormally loud stereo 2/3 of the way through. Please explain which limitations of the DVD format prevented you from transferring the sound accurately.
Evil Angel identified sound problems with their discs and deserve immense credit for doing something about it, involving great expense to themselves rather than the consumer. Some of those EA titles were available in the summer of '99 and upgraded earlier this year, so it's never too late for you to take similar action.
I bought my copy of The Dinner Party from an adult book store in NYC at the end of May '99(must've been the day it hit the streets?) and, like Bill, I paid around $25. If I had waited a few months and bought it online for $10 then I would've expected problems because high quality is rarely available at that price. Anyone buying a DVD retailing at $10 or less will get exactly what they deserve, a piece of crap. But $25 is another matter.
I realise that price is everything to some people and there are misguided individuals who pay $10 for a DVD believing that they're receiving a bargain, but quality is my main concern regardless of the cost. IMO, The Dinner Party is amongst the best porn films of the '90s so I would've happily paid $40 for a personal favourite of mine *if* it guaranteed higher quality.
Most people moved straight from VHS to DVD, bypassing LD, and therefore have extremely low expectations when buying porn. I used to buy porn on LD every month, paying anything up to $60 per title, and the quality was consistently higher than the majority of porn available on DVD today. Porn on DVD (source material allowing) should really look and sound substantially better than the VHS and LD equivalents. Unfortunately, due to cheap/incompetent authoring many DVDs fail to reach the required standard.
Since there's no way of checking sales figures, we can only take your word for it when you claim that Dinner Party has sold 50,000 units. If you offered replacements or cheaper upgrades I would expect a similar number of returned discs to the 135 you've already mentioned. After all, if consumers are as happy with the disc as you say they are, then you have nothing to worry about.
I am pleased that Adam & Eve are taking part in this forum and listening to consumer comments and I acknowledge that re-releases of the same title are commonplace in the mainstream business (the aforementioned Anchor Bay being one of the worst offenders). However, I'm not naive enough to believe that you are doing us a favour by making the same title available again so soon after the original release, especially when it should've been manufactured properly in the first instance.
I hope you do seriously consider free or discounted upgrades for The Dinner Party but in all probability I would buy it anyway. It's one of those *must have* titles and I'm sure you knew that when planning the latest release.

EDIT- rephrased one paragraph to make it clear that Adam & Eve are only re-releasing The Dinner Party, not multiple titles.

I call faulty logic. Those 135 returns were people for whom the original release was unacceptable. Obviously, there was no alternative way to see the movie except on VHS at that time.
Now, when they re-release the Dinner Party, there is now incentive to go through the hassle: You can get a better version. The choice will no longer be Dinner Party w/ Bad Transfer vs. No Dinner Party. The choice will be Dinner Party w/ Bad Transfer vs. Dinner Party w/ Good Transfer and Extra Material. Aha! Now there is the opportunity to upgrade instead of just go without. I suspect that 135 is roughly 1/30th of the true response he is going to get if he make the offer.
Yes, the Dinner Party was released in 1999, two full years after DVD production started. So? It was their first attempt at a DVD. I started programming roughly 15 years after the art was first created. Just because others had done it well did not prevent my first program from sucking ass. It was their first try. Yes, the results were less than good (or even adequate). They've gone back and done it again, applying everything they've learned over the past year and half. Please explain what prevented my first program from working perfetly the first time. Tell you what, I'll explain: experience.
Just wanted to point out, he said it was rough finding six year old footage. He did not say it was difficult finding six year old original source material. I suspect he was referring to finding the material for the extra content. I can certainly see why this would be difficult. Six years ago, few people were thinking in terms of extra content for DVD!
Hey, if this isn't doing you a favor, keep your money. Don't buy the DVD, and have fun with your old copy. They've given US a choice, and while it isn't the best of all worlds for me, the consumer, I'm happy I have the choice. Would you prefer that he just drop the project and let you keep your old copy?

Wanderer- The author I used was working for one of the studios you mentioned, and they said he was the best. If you want verification of information, contact me directly and it will be provided.
As I said before DIESEL is responsible for putting the idea in my head, period. Don't know if I should thank him or...
I have decided to Include DINNER PARTY 1 re-mastered version, with DINNER PARTY 3 release. for first 1000 customers. This will be direct through me. Not a store in NYC, or your favorite retailer. They will have other incentives. So Wanderer, I would like to replace yours first, and Bill you can be 2nd.
How could something so good, be so bad?

Well said Darkmage. I couldn't agree with you more.
JK - Thanks again for your prompt responses and attention to stuff on re-releasing the first Dinner Party. I know that I gave Adam & Eve some not - so - good reviews, but after watching Fire & Ice, my first of Adam & Eve's Premium Line, I can't wait for the re-release of Dinner Party! I'll be passing on my old copy so that somebody else can enjoy it and then REALLY enjoy the re-release!

JK,
Thank you. Your offer is perfectly acceptable to me. Please let me know where to send the disc (and credit card information) and it will be in the mail Monday.
To be perfectly honest, had you not made this offer, as tempted as I would have been to stop buying A&E titles, it would have been extremely difficult for me to have passed up on Dinner Party 3 considering Briana Banks (aka Mirage with new tits) is in it.
And although I'm not someone that you probably want to hear any more requests from, I'm going to make one more. Now the Taylor St. Clair has fallen off of the girl-girl / monogamy wagon, and is doing boy-girl scenes with someone other than her ex-boyfriend, please get her into some more of your titles as soon as possible before she changes her mind.
Thanks again for the offer.

ASTRONIGHT-
YOU AND I HAVS SAME TASTE, I keep Briana's agents number on my desk!(along with the Dinner Party 3 glamour shots) Trying to get her in more productions.
As far as your not so nice reviews-( a "1"?) the upside is when you have a good review, I KNOW IT IS GOOD!
Bill-I will call Taylors people, I did not know.
I have "some" input into talent choices, but
head of production and directors hammer out those details, but they always listen to the sales guy!
I keep asking for Niki Anderson as well-
she seems hard to track down.

Fair point, and I've edited my message to reflect that.
Thanks for the offer on Dinner Party 3. I'm not sure if it will still stand once you've read my next diatribe but if I have to buy a copy of The Dinner Party then so be it, there is a principle involved here which is more important to me than the money.
And if I read something that I disagree with I just have to respond. I can't help it. I've tried bitng my lip but it doesn't work.
I believe you when you say that you used a quality authoring house, so perhaps the source tape you provided them with wasn't good enough?

There may be some truth in this, but we'll never find out because a straight replacement offer won't happen. I think the number of original purchases via mail order would significantly restrict the number of returns anyway due to the hassle and expense involved in shipping the disc back.
Also, Adam & Eve could easily make an improved linear transfer available without gimmicks to use for replacements and save the special edition for those who want to buy it.
The fact remains however, that Adam & Eve didn't have to let 50,000 copies go out the door in the first place. The disc was so bad it should've been recalled or replaced early on before we even got to this stage.
I think you've lost the plot completely here.
Adam & Eve (like most other studios) DIDN'T manufacture their own DVDs, they paid an authoring house to do so. Although The Dinner Party was A & E's first release it wasn't necessarily the authoring company's first attempt. Maybe the source material Adam & Eve provided simply wasn't good enough and they supplied the authors with a crappy analogue tape as a master? In which case, you don't need experience to realise that garbage in = garbage out (to quote VCA).
I call it common sense.
Just wanted to point out..
So he seems to be suggesting that the age of the movie somehow prevents a decent transfer to DVD.
Can I just point out some other facts that you may not be aware of. Adam & Eve, like any other distributor, are in the business of making money not doing favors for people. If you believe that any businessman has your best interests at heart, then you're in for a rude awakening. Adam & Eve saw the opportunity to make more money off the same title and they took it. The review by Diesel just provided them with a convenient excuse.
That's just the point. We don't really have a choice because Adam & Eve own the rights to The Dinner Party and if we want a copy on DVD we either buy A & E's version or go without. If their release happens to be a pile of crap then what kind of choice is that? At least in the mainstream world the rights to certain movies change hands every few years, so you have the option of waiting for someone else to release it. In the porn industry that doesn't happen unless the original distributor goes out of business and I can't see that happening to Adam & Eve.
No, I'd prefer it if another studio handled the re-release, preferably someone who gets it right first time. Looks like I'll have to trust Adam & Eve for their second attempt.

JK,
I hate to possibly ruin your day, but it is me with whom you share the same taste as a fan of Brianna Banks.

Bill-
Works for me, we can disagree on one topic, and have the same favorite actress, hell, it made my day. I think it is great there is some common ground.
Wanderer-I think Darkmage might be a little more miffed then me.
Wanderer- at the end of the day, it doesn't matter if you believe what my motivation was.
Adam & Eve differs greatly from other studios, no company sells more adult content direct to the consumer then Adam & Eve. We are very consumer concious, and pay attention to what they tell us. When Dreamquest was delayed- Adam & Eve sent out
15000 free videos to those who pre-ordered. And the customer had not laid out a dime.
As a company we aim to be "user friendy".
What about this idea- (even though much of your post's are not positive in nature, there is a an underlying theme that I am trying to work with)
How about this:
Make DP3 a collectors edition, with DP1, remastered and any bonus footage or concepts added to this duel disk, or ,three disks? DP2 as well. Called The "Dinner Party Collection"
AND
re-release DP1, as a new "no frills" disk.(replacement disk) and have people mail in their old, for either a credit for the Dinner PArty Collection (above) or a replacememt disk, at no charge.
The consumer would get just a DVD disk in a sleeve. Linear, re-mastered transfer.
That of course brings up another problem,
disributor and online retailer support.
No gurantees, but I will look into this concept next week.
thoughts?

Sounds like an excellent idea to me. Even I would be happy with those proposals.
All I wanted originally was a high quality linear transfer without gimmicks, so if you were to offer that as a straight replacement then I'd be delighted.
If the special edition contained some worthwhile features then I would consider paying the extra money to upgrade. If not, at least I have a choice which is exactly what I wanted.
I can see how the organization of this offer could be a nightmare for yourselves but I hope you manage to work something out.
Best of luck and thanks for listening to what I had to say.

One of the things that Wanderer and I have in common regarding this topic is that we both come to DVD from Laserdisc, and therefore have a longer history than most people do, with the common practice of studios releasing discs of questionable quality, and then re-releasing them over and over again each time with a some kind of improvement that would be an enticement to but the disc again (hell, the Star Wars Trilogy was released 3 times on Laserdisc). Some studios and producers seem to do this over and over again.
We are probably taking a lot of our frustration out on JKRULL and Adam & Eve because after years of stewing over this topic, this is the first time that either one of us has the ear of someone who actually can do something about it (and actually cares about what people think).
I read something today in the October 2000 issue of "Stereo Review's Sound and Vision" that summed up this topic perfectly. When speaking at the VSDA Convention in July, director John Waters was talking about putting different commentary on the DVD than is on the laserdisc he said: "...But any way that you can trick people into buying your movie three times, I'm all for."
With this kind of sentiment in Hollywood, you can probably understand, the frustration of seeing this for over 9 years (I bought my first LD player in 1991). When Evil Angel made their offer to replace their discs for free, you can imagine my surprise. I was especially pleased that it was a company of the stature of Evil Angel that did this, because I consider them something of a leader in the Adult video business. I hoped that they were setting a precedence.
Unfortunatly, that hasn't happened (and it certainly isn't because there are no poor quality DVD's on the market).
Anyway, I just want to thank JKRULL for taking the time to listen to our concerns, and for a very good effort at addressing the problem. He could have very easily bailed out of this thread just like the guys from VCA and Private did on two different threads about the On-screen displays on multi-angle discs. They both said that is wasn't possible to make the on-screen display optional. When I pointed out 3 different mainstream DVD's that are doing exactly this (by using sub-titles), they both conveniently disappeared from the threads.

Bill- You summed up my thoughts perfectly there.
I certainly didn't intend to single JK or Adam & Eve out for criticism and would say exactly the same things (given the opportunity) to countless other studios.

And as Bill pointed out, it is rare that we get an opportunity to catch the ear of these studios. Tip O' the hat to JKRULL for dropping in and putting up with all of us.
Yep, I think we can all sit back and wait for the good things to come out of the Adam&Eve studio bag of tricks...
JKRULL - I really like that last proposal you posted, too. Most impressive.
Bill - Now I'm going to go find something with Briana Banks in it...

David,

You didn't see the review because I only posted it last Friday. Don't feel bad about missing it.

JKRULL : Thanks for the news of the remastering of The Dinner Party ... As I'm sure you figured out from my review, I was really, really disappointed by the quality of that disc. I honestly didn't really think a DVD could be inferior to VHS until I saw that one.

Thanks for having the desire to "do it the right way." Although more and more studios are starting to pay attention to what the fans want, there are many more that could take your lead.
