I was more amazed at the fact that my parcel had been opened an passed by H.M Customs. I know that the rules have been relaxed but i would have thought that GGG titles would have been judged too extreme for An BBFC "R18" certificate. The jiffy bag was as plain as they come: no company logos(just their address), stamps were used and my name and address were handwritten with magic marker. No customs declarations as it was a shipping within EU. [Link] |

Slumber Party 11 was cut by 32s for an R18 with the following justification: Company required to make cuts to female urination during sex in line with BBFC guidelines in order to achieve an R18. However the BBFC have been consulting with various enforcement agencies and have now decided that urination is acceptable as long as it does not take place during sex. In fact Barely Legal 1 & 2 have already been passed R18 and contain scenes of urination prior to the sex scenes.

I think Customs are putting all orders from Erovideo under the microscope because I had an order inpected only last week and a few other members here have as well. As to the GS scenes in the GGG DVD they are shown in the trailers and not in the main feature. [Link] |

Eurodvd have told me that customs have to give it back as it's legal in the UK. But they also say that 'There are no scenes of urination for sure.' and that I am the first who has not got the GGG dvd. Typical! What do you think I should do? How bad are the urination scenes and would they comply with BBFC guidelines? [Link] |
| fannatastic Member England 212 Posts 4/01 | Posted - May 11 2001 : 7:37PM I was thinking of ordering one or both of the GGG DVDs from Erodvd, but if they are being seized then I won't. I have great sympathy for anyone who has had their rightful property stolen by Customs, because it's happened to me on several occasions. None of the items seized then would be seized now. The only DVDs I have are two copies of Private Sampler 1 (both free with a load of hardcore mags) and Gigolo 1&2, which I bought very recently from Erodvd. I ordered these on April 28th and they were delivered on May 3rd, with no Customs interference. I just wonder whether Erodvd make things easy for Customs. Firstly, they write the address by hand and although it is done neatly, a printed one might arouse less suspicion. Secondly, and more importantly, they put a sticker on the front of the envelope with their address. Customs must be on the lookout for this now. I would complain about the seizure to: Andrew McNamara Tel: 020 7865 5680 If you appeal against your Notice of Seizure, you might have to pay court costs. You could ask Mr McNamara about this. He can be contacted by email by I don't know the address. Others who have contacted him say he is helpful. Perhaps by making a bit of a fuss, Customs will give you the DVD. It belongs to you, not them. If you don't do anything, the DVD will be destroyed. fannatastic

I know the trailer are an free bonus but without these trailers the films would be legal in the UK! Looks like I'll have to get in touch with Erodvd as they offer a 100% delivery guarantee.
