I have a DVD wish list that includes Andrew Blake's Decadence and have been using the excellent pricesearch here to watch out for bargains on it. A few weeks ago it go listed on pricesearch at $9.90 at Excalibur.
Naturally I jumped at the chance and ordered it then and there. The next day I got email from them claiming that:
"This DVD is no longer available. It has been discontinued by the
manufacturer."
A quick surf over to a few other online stores proved this to be completely untrue. After emailing in a URL to the Studio A webite showing Decadence available now, Excalibur emailed back saying they no longer carry Studio A titles.
Anyhow - I'm sad that I couldn't get Decadence for $9.90 (ahh well , and I'm sadder that Excalibur would claim that a new DVD was alredy out of print.
Could someone update the Pricesearch to avoid getting people's hopes up about Decadence (and other Studio A titles) at Excalibur films?
As a side question - Anyone know why Studio A is carried at so few DVD porn vendors?

I will drop Excalibur a note today to verify that they are no longer selling studio A titles.
The information in the price search database comes directly from the stores. If they still show the product available on their web site it will appear in the price search.
Why do so few stores carry Studio A titles? Studio A is very picky about their distribution channels. They are known for putting out high quality product. They don't want to see their brand weakened though price gouging online.

Also, Aroused, another Sutdio A DVD at Excalibur, shows as $9.90 in the price search but when you follow the link to Excalibur there is not button to click to add the item to the cart and the price is not even shown!
I did email Excalibur about this problem with Aroused and Decadence over a week ago but alas I have had no reply.

Guys:
I just want you to know that I emailed Excalibur a long, long time ago regarding the pricing of Studio A titles - no response. I should have followed up - thanks, Drew, for deactivating those titles.
I, too, was amazed by the deal and wanted to post it as a bargain - that is until I looked for an add to cart option
