There are guys that just eat tattoos up for some reason, but when a hot gal like Janine or Monique who have terrific natural bodies do this to themselves, its a crime against nature. Its the equivalent of painting a moustache on the Mona Lisa or putting a big black X on a Van Gogh.
Such a shame really... all those tats are just ruining her prevously perfect look. I often wonder - do most porn buyers in the US like the tattooos so much that practically every US pornstar eventually gets at least one one, and usually more? I guess we'll never know, but judging by this board and how many people hate tats, it doesn't seem such a smart career move, yet everyone is doing it.
+1. And a few more observations. Porn Girls all seem to follow each other in trends, and want to have "cutting edge" or extreme looks & dress. So the traditional Glam Look of Playboy Playmates doesn't rate high with them. In fact, the more "naturally pretty" the porn girl, the lower she seems to rate in hardcore porn circles. So she has to "prove herself" by being more outrageous, in appearance & scenes, than the other girls. Tattoos is just the latest. At one time all the girls had a single tat, on the ankle or butt, or pierced navels or tongues. Now it's extreme tats--sleeves, full-leg (like Jenna Jameson) or torso. IMO, porn performers live in an isolated, sub-culture mostly of other performers, who accept and encourage extreme behavior, looks and acting out in public. So, given this daily environment, what many of us see as extreme tats aren't extreme to them at all. Bottom line: it's a sub-cultural thing.
I don't really mind tattoo's too much, its much less "extreme" then the awful implants so many girls get in porn. There bodies are effectively staying the same they just add some pictures on top.
Vivid has finally released "The Set Up," the first movie to feature Monique's new tattoo. I would recommend everyone pick up a copy, just in order to see how you react to it in motion pictures, as opposed to the impression you got from looking at it in static still photography.
