Vinegar Syndrome has been cranking up their adult film Blu-ray releases so I figured it was worth it to create a thread on what they have coming.
They have said they are releasing the original Taboo on Blu-ray in July. Supposedly Taboo 2 through 4 are also going to be released at some point as well.
Edited 2/12/21 to change the thread name to include Peekarama.

Awesome! I have their Pretty Peaches blu and it is quite good although I'm not a fan of the third film and wish they had some extras. I have Corruption on order and will pick up their release of Blue Ice soon.
I think Corruption is the best of the Blu-rays they have put out so far. The image looks stunning! I haven't seen the new Pretty Peaches trilogy, but I do have the original LE for Pretty Peaches.
Thanks for starting this thread. I am beyond excited for the TABOO series. I am also going to get BLUE ICE and a minor favourite of mine, TRASHY LADY (That title makes me so happy--might as well be my byline).
I wish they would put out more NY shot movies. While I'm glad they're putting out Derenzy and Chinn stuff, they put out a lot of mediocre stuff (Tobalina's stuff in particular). I know they only put stuff out that the owners of the films agree to a deal with them, or there are no clear copyright holders but surely more NY based stuff has to be available. I'd kill to see some of Henri Pachard's best movies get the treatment they deserve. And more Avon releases too. I'm not not really a "rougie" fan, but their movies are entertaining. Hopefully there will be more Kirdy Stevens releases in the future. Playing with Fire and Animal in Me, in particular (love Colleen Brennan and Karen Summer). For sure more Pachard would be great. Trashy Lady is a NYC production is it not? Directed by the Ameros bros? Blue Ice also looks like an East Coast production. Could be wrong though.
I have all their adult Blu-rays so far except for the Pretty Peaches trilogy, the Sex World reissue (I have the original LE), Blue Ice, and the Erotic Adventures of Candy/Candy Goes to Hollywood. I've managed to review all of what I have so far here except for Young Like It Hot/Sweet Young Foxes. I'm planning on picking up all I am missing (except for the Sex World reissue) once the fixed disc for Candy is out. Edited by - flash on 3/30/2016 5:07:58 PM
Looking forward to anything Vinegar Syndrome have to offer because they usually do such an amazing job. I read somewhere that VS have the original negative and rights for Alex DeRenzy's Baby Face 2, which has only been available in a cut version for many years now, so to see a pristine, uncut remaster on Blu-ray would be amazing. Hopefully they also have rights and source material for the original Baby Face, although I've yet to hear confirmation of that. The Young Like It Hot is my favourite of their Blu-rays so far. I love that film and Hyapatia. Generally a fan of Bob Chinn's work too. Apart from that, I also have the Pretty Peaches and Sex World limited edition Blus, Corruption and several of their DVD releases. I'm undecided whether to double-dip on the Peaches trilogy Blu because I already have the DVD of parts 2 & 3. I suspect my next Blu-ray purchase will be Trashy Lady.

Cool, thanks mcewan. I was confusing it with John Amero's Every Inch a Lady. Too lazy to google lol. Funny that I confused two films both made by directors who also did gay films. Steve Scott's Gemini is pretty trippy.

Got my copy of Corruption today and rewatched it. Looks great, the blue room sequence always stood out but even more so here. The prominent darkness in the film has lots of grain but that was obviously in the source material. The score as usual for Richard Watkins film is great, not only the usual intense classical music selections buy also the original bass, synth and organ material is very menancing and memorable. One of the best and least dated soundtracks in xxx. Bobby Astyr gives a great performance here, as does Michael Gaunt. Gillis' purposefully disconnected delivery recalls his performance in Feelings. Payne has a haunting feminine quality in his performance that later switches over to that odd overacting of his often seen in the Phil Prince films that can be creepily effective. The story is very nightmarish and surreal and works well even if the ending feels a bit abrupt, like one more thematic or tonal beat was missing. Still, one of my favourite xxx films, with a atmosphere and tone like nothing else outside a good Lynch film.
Corruption may be my favorite Blu-ray from them so far. My order with the two Candy movies, the Pretty Peaches trilogy, and Blue Ice (along with Graduation Day) came today.

Thanks for the extensive review Flash I didn't realize the set was that many films. I have an Exploitation.tv subscription so this is very helpful in pointing me to which ones are worthwhile and which are not. The Spinelli was of greatest interest to me, I've seen the Big Snatch already and it is a good roughie as well.
Are any of these available on demand at sites like hotmovies or aebn? Blu Rays just don't work for me. Some are available from Caballero, but not remastered.

Thanks for the review Flash, I'll be picking up Trashy lady soon. I've seen Coming West on Exploitation.tv and although a slight vignette did stand out due to the cinematography and attractive cast of unknowns.
All of our releases this month have X rated film connections though... Besides the hardcore stuff, EVILS features a number of hardcore film actors, including Amber Lynn, and Disco was funded by Burt Steiger who ran Pacific Film Labs and produced a bunch of Charles DeSantos films.
Does anyone remember what time their past Black Friday sales went live? They just list it as early morning friday EST. I'm not sure if that means after midnight early morning, or somewhere between 5am-8am early morning. I'm hoping to snag some limited edition stuff that may only last an hour or so.
I honestly don't remember. I don't think there is a lot to worry about. With the exception if Emerald Seas, which was limited limited I don't recall them running out.
Yeah I figure the newer stuff will be fine. Sometimes though they have a handful of extra copies on stuff that's been out of print for a while. I know the last time they had a sale I just missed out on the Hypatia Lee PeekaRama bluray.
I'm happy with my pull. I was gonna hold off on the Sarno flick but then saw on their facebook page they are already down to a couple hundred copies Taboo 2 & 3 [Blu-ray/DVD Combo] China and Silk [Blu-ray/DVD Combo] Physical Attraction + Classical Romance [DVD] Ribald Tales of Canterbury + Tasty [DVD] Hot and Saucy Pizza Girls [DVD] Storefront Theatre Collection #2 - Bizarre Art [DVD SET] All the Sins of Sodom *Limited Edition* [Blu-ray/DVD Combo] Must resist buying more...

I've already got All the Sins of Sodom on DVD. It looks great and is another fine little sexploitation melodrama from Sarno. Edited by - BlackSix on 12/30/2016 3:30:04 PM
Outstanding news about Babyface. Hopefully we'll also see Baby Face 2 getting the Blu-ray treatment in the New Year, preferably 1 & 2 combined in a single set as VS did with the Pretty Peaches trilogy.
