Just finished reading your blog entry, Tessa. I've seen a lot of your work and remember buying Chucky Cheerleaders and Real Big Tits15. Is anybody else noticing the changes in porn beauty standards overtime, which can reflect changes in society's beauty standards. When I was in porn 2 decades ago, the main stars were very slender with Jenna Jameson being at the top of the list (though I realize she experienced very public body shaming considering how her looks changed after leaving porn). While there might not be a Jenna Jameson level star today, it seems like the current biggest stars in the business have more of a variety of body types and some are thicker, curvier, and naturally busty such as Angela White and Violet Myers. Angela White won AVN female performer of the year 3 times, and I don't think any thicker voluptuous women won this award back then no matter how well they acted or performed sex scenes. At the time I worked, at least some of the women who are the biggest stars in the business now probably would have been just niche performers- not because of anything wrong with them but because of where the industry was at the time. They could have gotten work in "chunky," big natural breasts, or big ass-themed videos, though I don't think they would have gotten the level of mainstream work they get more recently. As another performer told me when I started in the business, chunky didn't have to mean "fat," it just meant not thin. Do they still use that term in porn?
