I have never heard of this, it seems at odds with recent porn trends, and I want to assume this is BS. Does anyone watch this? Know about it? Is it really "popular"? [Link]

Click to expand I love the look of anorexic girls and have a small collection of soft-core images, but haven't found any hardcore anorexic porn (unfortunately). I don't use the pro-ana sites for material, although I acknowledge that the images I have may in part have been sourced from them at some point. Are images of naked anorexic girls 'increasingly popular'? I don't know. I doubt their popularity has changed (although these days I don't search often). [Link]

The article makes it sound like there are whole adult modelling agencies specialising in dangerously underweight women, but I can't find any evidence of that. From what I can see there are just a handful of specialist 'skinny porn' sites, with a couple of producers caught trolling pro-anorexia forums looking for models. Here are all the pay sites I could find with a couple of Google searches and a look through a fetish porn directory: www.skinnyfans.com www.absoluteskinny.com www.thinfetish.com Really fucking disturbing, but based on that it's a smaller niche than necrophilia, or animal crushing, or any number of other strange fetishes. It's certainly far less popular than BBW/fat/feeder fetish porn. I don't see any evidence that anorexia porn is suddenly increasing in popularity and becoming even remotely mainstream. Of course that won't stop people trying to use it to stir up a moral panic about porn in general. [Link]

It's not like mainstream porn is THAT far away from it- Most of today's girls are borderline anorexic anyway. Compared to just five years ago, it's sad how malnourished and scrawny the girls have gotten. I've never felt a bigger disconnect with the women in porn as I do now. Size 0-2 is being pushed as the standard of beauty, and that means a lot of hot girls who are naturally size 6 or 8 are starving themselves trying to achieve "the right look". The common end result is the crackwhore appearance: sunken eyes, hollowed cheeks and skeletal figures. Look at the model list of any mainstream site and you'll see girl after girl who looks exactly like I just described. This was not the case until only 2-3 years ago. [Link]

Click to expand i agree that the weight issue is a problem in porn.... but they arent starving themselves, its called aa drug problem. meth/coke/adderall yes ADDERALL(an adhd medication which is like legal speed) is prominant.... i for one dont deny ive tried drugs here and there, but realized it wasnt really my thing, i "experimented" and didnt like the side effects so i drink occasionally, and light up a joint on occassion as well nothing too crazy... however i am a rare breed, ALOT OF GIRLS DO HARD DRUGS!!! not shocking i'm sure... however, the people that hire these waffer thin girls only feed to their problem just like in high fashion modeling, it makes the problem worse due to these girls seeing that they make 444 bc they are 100lbs due to their drug problem its a vicious cycle.... as for the girs 2-3 years ago being more curvy isnt true either i have been around for 4 years, and when i started i was considered "thick" being 5'6 and 120lbs im actually below my healthy weight if you look up the BMI charts online... finally at 23 i feel more secure in my body and love having curves(some surgically enhanced lol) being a woman entails curves.... but when i started there was a wealth of super tiny/skinny gals.... its been this way for a while... the funny thing is i am a size 2/4 even when i am not workin out or eatting healthy... however the camera adds LBS THIS IS NOT A JOKE.... so many times ive had fans at conventions and feature gigs say "wow, your alot smaller in person..." It doesn't surprise me, but it's sad all the same. As someone who promotes and waves a flag in defense of porn, it's important to know how severe the drug problems are since there are so many stereotypes about women in porn just doing it so they can get a heroin fix. I also find the "anorexia fetish" to be appalling. It's one thing to be attracted to skinny girls, but it's another thing entirely to get off on seeing these girls starve themselves. It's really depraved actually. Then again, it's the really depraved content that people seem to flock to anymore. It is like pedophiles and sideburns. Many girls I know have hipbones and visible ribs and that is their genetic build. They eat hardy meals and exercise it off or that is just their metabolism. A few of them, especially my ex-wife, are going to outlive us all and certainly are going to outlive the chubbies in fetish porn that no one seems to criticize. Americans are fat. Take a look at a healthy BMI chart. Some of these petite girls are well within their healthy ranges. A 5'1 girl who weighs 98 lbs is not underweight by a BMI chart. Slim girls have a more youthful, healthy appearance and that is why (many/most) men are attracted to them. It is a biological imperative -- survival of offspring, etc. Everyone can get in a group hug and bemoan skinniness, but that isn't going to change.
