Why is stuff on Clips4sale so expensive? Hardcore scenes cost around $10-$12 for crappy quality and around $16-$18 for hd quality but THAT'S FOR JUST ONE SCENE. How are they making money with this business model? Don't get me wrong they have some good stuff that you can't find anywhere else but why the fuck is it so pricey and are people really shelling out that much money for just one scene?

They are low volume sellers with more specific types of scenes and fetishes. With less sales, they need more money per sale. If you've bought a lot of cheaper porn and been disappointed, then you could be ready to pay more for what you know you will like.

IMO clips4sale is maybe about the same price as porn on a per-minute basis, if you count only the "good" minutes in a typical porn DVD. I have purchased around 12-15 scenes, from 3 or 4 studios. If you see a studio you really like, check to see if they have set up a membership site (at c4slive.com), where you pay a monthly subscription for streaming access to a bunch of vids. Some of the studios offer this option, many of them don't. And of the ones which do have a c4slive site, some stream the full collection of vids available at the main site, while others stream only a few. And the pricing varies greatly.

I'm assuming Clips4sale doesn't use DRM however once you purchase a clip using your CC can someone tell me how exactly you download it to your HD?

Basically once the transaction is done then you are brought to a page that allows you to download the video in the format you bought. You also get an email confirmation with the same link so that you can download it at a later time. Don't hold me to this but I believe you have 48 hours to download the video.

Clips4Sale take 40% of the cost...
Also, they have a built-in pricing plan which rounds out to about $1 a minute. If I upload a 5 minute video, the cheapest I can sell it for is around $4 - $5. You have a little more wiggle room the longer the video, though. You can sell a 15 minute for around $12 but I don't think they'll allow you to go lower.
