I put up a lot of my older lesbian videos as short clips as well as full length scenes back in 2008 and I was able to make a respectable number of sales, a few thousands of dollars worth, especially when my store was new to C4S. I still make some sales on C4S and in my other clip stores elsewhere, but nowhere near as many as last year. Unless you have a lot of clips and are able to update your store often it will be hard to sell more mainstream porn video there. Mostly the very unusual fetish & amateur stuff sells more, like fem-dom, foot fetish and niches. Also if you are able to drive traffic to you store you are going to sell a lot more clips than if you rely on just C4S self-generated traffic.

I have a handful of solo and lesbian clips on my store and if I put a reasonable amount of effort into advertising I can make around $100-$150 per week. Clips4Sale is heavily geared towards the fetish market so I'm sure those type of clips would sell better on there.[Link] |

I make very little there... but my older stuff is pretty general vanilla porn. Clips4Sale really caters towards fetish so if you have a micro-niche, you'd probably do ok.
The biggest deal is getting and staying on the front page... since that's where the heavier traffic comes. Once you're buried, sales drop like a stone... unless you're promoting your store via your own methods.
Long story short, if you think this is your pathway to riches, it's not. At best, you'll pay some household bills or maybe fill up your car's gas tank. However, it is money and in this economy, I don't want to leave any money on the table.

I am posting from a consumer perspective. I have purchased many clips from certain stores that you can't find elsewhere. They do have some very unique content, but like everyone says they are too expensive for most. Some clips are $15.99 for a single blowjob video. For me, that is just too high to justify. A membership to most websites is only around $25.00. Another thing is there are so many stores that is difficult to find what you are looking for. Even with the search function is takes too long.

This site is a rip-off; I bought a 12 minute clip of Boroka for $12, which certainly is expensive enough, but when I downloaded it, it came out as a dm.pf file that I finally figured out how to play but does not have any audio. The worse part, however, is that the webmaster has completely ignored at least 2 voice mail messages that I left and at least two e-mails that I've sent to ask for assistance on this. I strongly recommend that anyone considering using the site think twice.
