Pain is a sign of injury. And if clit masturbation only masks the pain without helping the lady relax her ass, then porn ladies would be getting injured with guys like Steve Holmes. And this doesn't seem to be the case at all.
The thing to remember is that an erection, either penile or clitoral, is actually a relaxation of certain muscles. The relaxation of these muscles allows normal blood blood pressure to erect sexual organs. And the person's rectum has similar smooth muscles. Which explains the mechanism of how an erection of sexual organs is associated with the relaxations of the person's rectum. They are connected via the nervous system. And they react the same way.
