I realized that this seems to be happening to most of the newly released Club Jenna titles I've been renting regardless of the director (Thank G-d I did not BUY THEM!!!). I recently read a review on DVDEmpire.com that said, "Laurent Sky just might be serving up the most visually appealing porn on the market right now...scenes shot in a music video-like manner, with quick cuts and a very glamorous look to them. Is this supposed to be artistic porn? I get that people like Andrew Blake and Michael Ninn have a place in the history of porn, even if I simply do not understand what they are trying to accomplish. That said, they do not make wank-off flicks, which in this industry is what sell, at least IMHO. Are there any relatively new Club Jenna releases that are worthwhile? By worthwhile, I mean features like Wicked, Vivid (though recently, their features have stunk), gonzo like Evil Angel, Digital Playground, Jules Jordan, Vouyer Video, PLatinum X or Red Light District. Anyone? [Link] |
