I think the standard recommendation for length of use is about 30 minutes each time. Give it a chance to get the blood flowing again for an hour or so before you use it again. The rings sold for medical purposes are VERY tight and only go around the base of the shaft. I think they're all silicone and come in a variety of shapes, but once stretched, they all take a round shape. These tend to be more uncomfortable because they're SO tight. Find something that's comfortable to wear. As an alternative, you might consider a low doses of PDE5 inhibitors.....they work well and feel much better than rings. Rings tend to make it feel like you're fucking with a balloon if they get too tight. Rather than making it feel like you're hard, they can make it feel like you're inflated. Hard to describe the feeling, but it's just different. The ones that are adjustable and go around your shaft and under your sack are interesting because they also tend to lift the shaft and make it appear and perform more erect than it actually is.
