I saw an interview recently with Chanel Preston where she said lots of companies are moving to Las Vegas to shoot. Here's my question: why aren't companies just moving to Orange County or Ventura County or San Diego instead of all the way to Vegas? She also said companies are flying stars to Vegas to shoot scenes, wouldn't it be cheaper to just drive from L.A. to Orange County?

Part of the "problem" is CAl-OSHA and the California judicial system. Plus, Orange and Ventura Counties already passed preemptive condom measures to discourage such relocation. San Diego County is where they house a lot of their servers but it wouldn't be long before SD County faced pressure if porn shoots started occurring there. Riverside is a Republican county as well, also heavily influenced by Mormons who would not look kindly upon this behavior and they happen to have a lot of money to spare for political campaigns.
Vegas is already "Sin City", heavily sexual, full of great locations, and the cost of production (post-relocation) is lower too. Moving production to Vegas should be a no brainer, and will payoff in no time.

Isn't Vegas where they shoot most Brazzers stuff? If so it would make sense for the industry to move there/performers to relocate near there.

makes sense, foolish of them to interfere with a legal business.
