For example DVDPricesearch.net is the dvd comparison site I use for mainstream, it would be great if something like that worked for adult to keep abreast of lowest prices for titles. Adult Talk and the Fight Divx websites are certainly the best and worth checking every day [Link] |

I actually started doing a release schedule last month - so I have info from some of the studios. But I got wrapped up in other stuff and by the time I got back into it everything changed. It's something that we really need to lobby the studios to start providing. A release schedule becomes valuable to the studios if it creates pre-order business. There isn't much pre-order business in adult DVDs at the moment. It's a catch 22 situation. The release schedules are hardly ever accurate and therefore consumers don't feel comfortable placing pre-orders for new titles. How do we fix it? We need a few of the leading online retailers to work with the studios directly to create a pre-order business model for worthy titles. ADT would certainly support it by providing access to the schedules, studios and retailers. [Link] |
