Now I have to start by saying that I am one of the (apparently) legions of hacks on this site who DOESN'T like scenes with condoms.

I'm not by any means "anti-condom" per se, I just don't particularly enjoy seeing rubberised dicks in my porn.

So I feel particularly aggrieved when I see a condom scene, because you can bet that 9 times out of 10 it will end with the guy (or guys) removing the rubber and letting fly straight into the girl's mouth or even onto her pussy and / or asshole, with the sperm then streaming right on into her.

Presumably the condoms are supposedly there to convey some sort of "responsible" safe sex message? Or perhaps the female performers concerned will only work with condoms? But either way, given that the girl usually ends up with the cum inside one of her orifices anyway, it begs the question: Why the fuck bother using condoms in first place??

Am I missing something here??

I feel that STD's are a major concern as well as unwanted pregnancies. ALthough I'm assuming that the majority of actresses are using the contreceptive pill at the same time.
Ultimatley its the actresses choice. Consumers have enough info, through ADT and other sources, to know whether a particular title contains condom use. Therefore, if you don't like it, don't buy it.
Also, I'm guessing that some actresses simply don't feel comfortable having unprotected sex with an actor, other than medical reasons.

It was always my understanding that the studios conduct mandatory and full STD testing as a matter or course, although I could be wrong there. And like you, I would also assume that most of the girls take the pill also.

I don't agree that consumers always have "enough info" about condom use - I don't know about you, but if I'm in a video rental store or a shop and see a title that I fancy watching on the strength of the box cover, I just pick it up. True, the box will often (but by no means always) reveal whether condoms are used or not. But if it's unclear, I don't drive home, research the title on the Internet and then drive all the way back again to get it!!
Maybe "condom warnings" on the box art might be the answer

The minute they put condoms in porn, the minute i'll stop buying that porn. Its okay for 1 or 2 scenes every now and then, but all the time, arghh. I would just end up buying back catalogue movies.

So what does putting on a condom, but than shoot it off into a girls orifice, as floraman described, help in this case?

It doesn't help anything. I was just saying that studios(?) don't conduct full and maddatory STD testing. Stupid!

Condoms are definitely a scene killer for me too. I had never really thought about the pull-off facial move before, but you are right that it doesnt make sense. It leads me to believe that either girls are as dumb as their stereotype, or the condom is only to prevent pregnancy (not diseases). Floraman makes the comment that they still ejaculate on the vagina, and this is true but rarely leads to pregnancy. Im not saying it cant happen, but its not likely. However, the girls shouldnt be banking on chance if they are really worried and buns in the oven.

RichardHertz.

I don't have any idea who you are, but with a total of 6 posts made by yourself so far totalling about 20 words, I don't see how you can claim to know much more than the rest of us here either way about what kind of testing studios have.

I'd also suggest you grow some manners quicksmart. There's no reason for you to be calling anyone in this thread "stupid".

I don't like condom use either. What I always see is condom use for intercourse but no condom use for oral sex. You can get STDs thru oral sex too, so I've always wondered why they make them wear them only for intercourse. I think it's a halfass attempt to apply some sort of protection, but they should do it all the way or not at all.

actually, I don't even purchase fliks with condom use at all.

As I said before, it maybe simply that the actress doen't feel comfortable having unprotected intercourse. There maybe other reasons than medical ones

Looking at the way Vivid and Wicked introduced condoms, it all points towards a self-righteous attempt to pretend safe-play, which is not safer at all.

The only honest safe-play I have ever seen was earlier Private condom-advertizement prior to their non-condom features. An erotic film with a beautiful girl instructing on how to use a condom, than a voice saying that in the fellowing Private-girls fuck without rubber, because all Private actors/actresses get tested constantly.

...and than 90 minutes of 100%-non-condom-fun!!!!

Thats the only way, IMO.

PLEASE report all usually condom-free girls fucking a rubber dick on my condom-blacklist here!

I read his comment as meaning the studios were stupid for not doing full STD testing.

An article was posted here recently which suggested that AIM was, in fact, about to implement full STD testing. Unfortunately I can't track it down.

I believe that the previously posted article to which Hardware is referring is this one.

This is the only condition under which I'd like to see a condom scene :)
