The other option would be having half of your head short but not shaved while the other stays a normal length until the shorter side gets long enough to cut the sides evenly. Which would take a lot of maintenance. This way would be much easier to maintain, and you'd be able to wear a wig much easier if you didn't actually feel like rocking the bald look. If the eventual goal is to go back to having a regular cut, this would be the easiest and simplest way to do it. [Link]
