Ladies & gentlemen;
I read in a thread (hey, that rhymes!) a few weeks ago about how pornstarlets miss 3 months a year due to cum-ulative sum of 1 week per month for "women's stuff", as in periods.
Which brings me to the question; since most porn (thankfully) avoids the rubber ducky, the chicks must be on the pill or the injection or something, which by my understanding means the girls don't get periods, while on the meds at least.
Oh wait, I was supposed to finish that paragraph with the question... so, what's up with that?
OR maybe I'm wrong about the pill stopping the periods. But I do know fo' shizzle that the injection stops the periods.

My BC pills don't stop my periods. They have some where you can get less of them each year, but I don't think there are any pills right now that totally get rid of them. If there are I would be all over that shit....

*I* mentioned the 3 months (13 weeks) a year due to menses. You can take birth control pills non-stop and, if the pills agree with your body, miss most (but not all) of your periods. It's not recommended for women who may want to conceive, so most young women don't do it, and most doctors don't tell women to do it unless they have serious PMS symptoms or other concerns.
I'm old and long past wanting to have babies. I take a mono-dosage pill non-stop on quarterly cycles. So, I "plan" just four periods a year. I break through or have other disruptions a few times a year. I have only managed to successfully reduce my "down time" by about half. Which is still great for me, but by no means does it mean I never have to deal with enforced time off.

The injections are not supposed to stop all menstrual periods either. The only thing that will entirely stop a woman's menstrual periods is a hysterectomy.

From my understanding (and every girl I've been with have been taking the pill) all it is known to do is regulate periods to a normal time each month, not stop it. There is a form of birth control pill that causes a woman to only have a period 3-4 times a year, but only a select amount of women are able to take it because of various reasons. As far as a girl getting pregnant during porn scenes i'm sure it has happened, it's hard to believe it never has, because nothing is 100% preventative.

Don't girls work during their periods as well? Just stick a sea sponge up there. Why are they losing 3 months of work? That's plum silly.

Some girls might work during their periods, but those sponges don't always work that well. Most girls probably just don't do scenes during that time would be my guess.
