I had one set of generic infrared headphones that lasted about 3 years before conking out (with frequent use) They work well for watching porn if you don't want neighbors and visitors to hear it. Then I went through two pair of RCA infrared headphones--one lasted a few months and one lsated 6 weeks--pure junk. Basically, the wires were so thin that they both failed right where you plug it in to the audio source. I'm looking at buying some others, but can't afford to spend the dough for the top of the line ones. Some are 900 mhz, but I wonder about neighbors picking that up off their cordless phones. Any suggestions?

For years I use Sennheiser (HDR 130), using 900mhz. They're lightweight, indestructable (ahum: when do we have spellcheck again ... English is not my native language ...), and have a reasonable neutral sound IMO.
Mainly I use them on PC, but sometimes on DVD. Porn is so much better hearing what you're seeing ... . And: nobody complained EVER. They like what they hear, or maybe what they don't hear? No, serious: unless you look for it, knowing what to look for, nothing will be picked up from your headset. I once asked a radio-amateur neighbour one street from my app to look for the signal, and he found nothing.
