Then I went through two pair of RCA infrared headphones--one lasted a few months and one lsated 6 weeks--pure junk. Basically, the wires were so thin that they both failed right where you plug it in to the audio source. I'm looking at buying some others, but can't afford to spend the dough for the top of the line ones. Some are 900 mhz, but I wonder about neighbors picking that up off their cordless phones. And: nobody complained EVER. They like what they hear, or maybe what they don't hear? No, serious: unless you look for it, knowing what to look for, nothing will be picked up from your headset. I once asked a radio-amateur neighbour one street from my app to look for the signal, and he found nothing. p_n  [Link] |
