With illuminating results. I had no idea he has a day job at an airline. Also, this is interesting (and I'm sure will break some hearts here): "On camera they usually want you to be more aggressive. A lot of times certain companies want something extreme, and I'm kind of large down there. I used to date basically only women with kids, because if she gave birth to a baby she can definitely handle me. So I know a lot of times, if I actually do it [on set], I'll rip the girl, or hurt her, and that doesn't turn me on, so there are tricks. Like I'll pull a girl's hair and make it look like I'm just reaming her until she's crying, but nine times out of 10 I'm not even inside of her. For me it's all about doing a good scene and turning girls on."
No offense but does he know what he looks like. It just seems weird to read him talking about having high standards for women who he's attracted to or otherwise doesn't want to work with them. He also seems to think he's an extremely desirable male to many. Also they should've asked him about penis enlargement. I don't know if he ever did it but man that thing looks like it's been through a lot(no pun intended).
Interesting interview. Probably the most interesting part is that he's able to hold down a 'normal' job working for an airline and everyone knows about it but no one cares. That should give hope to many porn performers who wish to get another job/work in another industry. Though it does also make me wonder whether it would be the same for a female performer (Shane says that it would be different for women at the end of the interview). Also, he mentions working around blue collar guys, so I'm guessing that he works in a job that doesn't have him dealing with the public as much as, say, a flight attendant or a ticket agent. That might be tougher to pull off as a famous porn star. "70 percent of my fans are gay or bisexual fans." Interesting. I wonder whether other male stars would estimate a higher or lower percentage of gay and bi fans, or about the same. He believes that a large portion of the audience for his cuckold scenes is bisexual, as he describes in the interview. But what about fans of his other scenes? It's also interesting that he feels his son is still too young to get into porn at the age of 29, when the vast majority of performers he has worked with are far younger than that.
^^ Yet someone just above you expressed desire for him, as do women in the comments of the article. So, I guess some women find him hot. Edited by - Gore Gore Girl on 10/24/2015 1:59:55 PM
I used to remark upon straight male performers with a gay or queer following as if they represented something special or unique (the first one I noticed was Voodoo, then it was James Deen). Now I realise that the majority of straight male performers probably have a gay or queer following. It seems popular stars are popular stars. Makes sense. That said, I'm sure doing scenes that have a more explicitly queer edge than standard "straight" porn will bring the boys to the yard.
I ♥ the male gaze (and Palestine). 8737 Posts 11/13

^If I didn't know who he was and he hit on me in a bar, I imagine that I'd be receptive, but since in reality I do know who he is I can't say for sure how I'd respond. That said, I don't really have much of a "type."
I doubt it. I don't feel this way personally but I'm sure a lot of small minded people will practise the same double standard of male vs female promiscuity if employers and co-workers found out a woman was a porn actress. I bet such a woman would probably face a lot of harassment from male co-workers who think they'd stand a chance with her as well.
