it's not you or your player - the menu on cost of lust just plain doesn't work. we got the movie to play (through fumbling) but that was all we could access.
i have not had this problem with any other wicked titles.

When I insert into player (JVC 701 BLK)the intro happens and then switches to the Main Menu. From there I cannot access anything, including starting the movie or stopping it. It only stops after repeated pushes on the stop button. What is odd is that the movie's scenes play in a small window without a problem, however everything else is frozen. I have many DVD's in my collection both mainstream and adult, and they play without any problem. This is the first Wicked dvd though. Before I return to vendor was wondering if anyone else has this problem. Anyone with the JVC 701 being able to play this or other Wicked dvds? I want to get Flashpoint, but will hold back if there is a compatability problem with the player. Thanks. [Link] |
