I was wondering this because it's not usually considered interracial with Hispanic performers. A guy like Carlo Carrera, who's half black, works with dodgers usually. Here's the answer (though you don't want to hear it): If the girl is a 'dodger', as in she truly doesn't want to have anything to do with black men on camera, for whatever reason, then this is what happens: if there's a guy who looks maybe hispanic, maybe black, maybe who-knows-what, she'll likely work with him unless she finds out he's black (or half-black or whatever).
Wow Carlos Carrera is half Black?? I always thought he was Hispanic, I think it depends because Justin Long is Mixed and Dodgers dont do scenes with him, but the only Black Male that got away with doing Dodgers was Jake Steed

Hispanic isn't a race, it's an ethnicity. And Karlo is Cuban, don't know if he's truly half black, but he's surely Afro-Cuban. His ancestry has black in it, you'll find a lot of this in Cubans and Dominicans.

There's lots of different permutations of this phenomenon. Way way back, Billy Dee was considered a black performer. He also considered himself black. He was in the black section of the porn shop. But in recent years, most of his scenes with white girls have been retrofitted to the non-interracial category. There were some girls who didn't work with him because he was considered black. And that really is the key. Things have incrementally changed, and a Billy Dee who comes into porn nowadays would be just like Carlo. Justin Long stated that there were Euro male stars who were darker than him that worked with girls that refused to work with him. That goes back to who is considered black. He's just Spanish, a southern European we can tan really A LOT ,one of my brothers can turn from pale white in winter to darker than some blacks around , believe me , it all depends in what part of the year you take the picture. I'm a redhead and can't tan the way he does still I can tan from a vampire pale skin tone to darker than Billy Dee and I never went to Sicily so far , in there the Sun really burns. Skin color has been controversial in and of itself. American society has come a long way. In the 50's, Nat King Cole was the first black person to host a TV show. He was a singing mega-star that had a golden voice that was embraced by everyone. But the TV show was short lived. He couldn't get national sponsorship because so many viewers found him offensive to look at. Nowadays that might sound like its worthy of Ripley's Believe it or not.
