This is like David vs Goliath if David were a trashy blonde with gigantic boobs. The back story is this: Vivid, the porn giant has a video of Courtney Stodden pleasuring herself (you can see it here) They want to pay her six figures for it and she's like whoa, hold up not so fast Vivid. My question is, would you pay this chick six figures for a video of her touching herself and according to TMZ give herself the biggest O ever?
If Vivid is able to pay her 6 figures, they know they'll be able to make that back in both sales and promotion. I hope it's released. I'd beat off to it. I wouldn't normally care for a solo video but when it's a celebrity, I'm down. Plus, I really wanna see her naked. She looks like she has nice big fake tits (that's my thing!). - Jimmy Hooligan The Official Jimmy Hooligan Dirt Pipe Divas - 100% Anal Porn
Also, I can't believe people are still believing these back stories. More than likely, Vivid already owns the tape, and this whole story is just to drum up coverage of the tape's existence. Then again, people believed that Farrah Abraham story, when her co-star basically debunked her whole story within hours of the first story about it.
Meh I'll pass. Most the girls in porn today are much better looking than her. The sad part is that if you see some her earliest pics before the fake tits and awful plastic work, that she was a very pretty girl.
Hmmmm....I figured it would only be a matter of time. Courtney loves the over the top sex doll look. She wants to be famous in the worst way but other than looking hot there's not a whole lot she has to offer to keep her in the spotlight and people interested. She's said in the past that she's had offers to do porn but refused. I guess she's come to the point that she needs more attention or more money. I don't think it's worth 6 figures for a masterbation scene when if they play hardball and wait it out a bit they could probably get a full on B/G sex scene. I wouldn't buy/pay for a solo vid but would gladly pay to see a B/G scene.
She made the news because she got married at 16 to 50-ish year old actor from the series LOST. The mom gave consent and it was legal in whatever state they got hitched in. lots of people were appalled by the whole thing. As an added bones the girl (Courtney) has had work done to make her look like a sex doll. She usually dresses in skimpy outfits and always wears 6 inch stripper shoes. She basically looks like a pornstar playing the part in a porn movie. I think she's divorced the guy she was married to. But when they were together the guy (Doug) was so taken by her he just put up with her dressing the way she does and her trying to become famous. They were on a season of an MTV show called COUPLES THERAPY were they tried to work though some of their marriage problems. During the show most of the couples thought it was disgusting that Doug married a 16 (17 during the show) year old. The couples also didn't like Courtney because she'd always dress in very skimpy outfits during the show. One interesting aspect of doing the show was that Courtney was a minor during shooting and they could only shoot her for a limited amount of hours like they do when children appear on a tv show. Other than the show Courtney has/had a YOUTUBE channel where she does...stuff. Talk about things and does a photoshot or two...pretty boring actually. The rest of her time seems devoted to showing up places in skimpy outfits and letting the papparazzi take her picture. Not quite sure what she's up to now....other than making materbation videos.
^ Oh yeah, now I remember her! Except I remember the guy she married best as Eugene Tooms from the X-Files. It's a remarkable feat when you can out-creep that character in real life.
This! As mentioned on this forum multiple times, no US porn company is going to release a porn movie without having all the paperwork (2257 anyone?) in order, especially not Vivid. You can go to jail for not having the right paperwork. The amounts they are supposedly going to pay a "celebrity" and the threat of courtcases is all part of the PR game. Jacco
Of course they need paperwork... but the vast majority of everyday people don't understand how the porn business works. They have no idea about model releases and 2257. Hell, most of porn thought Bang Bus was 100% real when they came out. - Jimmy Hooligan
I think most people know that the claims of these tapes being "leaked" personal videos are bullshit. They just don't care as they want to see it anyhow. Nobody was fooled by Farrah Abraham but many were still curious to see that Backdoor Teen Mom video anyhow.
Well, they kinda have to play this game....If a girl or couple just come out and say she's releasing a vid of her having sex there's no much of a story to play off of and it doesn't stay in the news long. However, if the girl (or guy) says this something the don't want to be released and they're a victim and there's fighting on both sides on whether the tape will be released to the public and there's big money involved....then that's the sort of drama that can stay in the news for a longer time and get the videio more exposure for when it finally does come out. Courtney is a D-level celeb though...Her time in the spotlight was very brief and I don't think that many people will remember her and will be curious enough to want to buy buy her video. She's got her looks going for her but unless she's putting on one hell of a masterbation show and/or is offering more some sort of "extras" to help fill out a DVD, I don't think this will be anything more than something people will watch on the net when it's pirated.
I thought Plastic surgery was supposed to improve your looks not make em worse :P. There's a pornstars now and then thread on here we should do one before and after plastic surgery see who looks better or worse LOL
I think public acceptance/slut-shaming plays a large role, also. It's a lot easier for people to accept a woman's sex tape, and embrace a modicum of mainstream involvement on the woman's part, if they are told the woman is a victim, that she didn't just make a porn movie.
Thousands of people get plastic surgery everyday and do look better and are happier because of it but there are also thousands of people who don't like the idea of plastic surgery and will find fault with those who get it regardless of the results. Courtney (and many others) are going for a certain look when they seek change. She seems happy with the changes/choices she's made and she gets the results she wants from her new appearance. So her surgery was successful.
No, cosmetic surgery is ultimately about improving the self confidence and self worth of the patient (cynics would add lining a surgeon's pockets). Whether you consider it to make somebody look worse is your problem if the patient is happy with the results.
^The problem is that I don't think cosmetic surgery is really the solution for what often ails most of the people who have procedures done. Their self-worth issues are more likely internal and cosmetic surgery may make the person feel better for a short while but sooner than later their unhappiness will come back. I honestly have no clue what goes through the mind of a teenager that she thinks altering her looks to such a degree will somehow make her happy but I am certain that there is more than one psychologist who would love to write a thesis on a person like Courtney.
^ The vast majority of people who plastic surgery done are normal people who may have something they don't like about themselves and it makes them feel uncomfortable or it bothers them. Most people who get surgery done don't have self asteem issues that causes them to never be happy and causes them to go back for multiple procedures. They usually get that one procedure done and if it turns out well they're done. But some people are fooled into thinking that most people are never happy because they mostly hear about the people who actually do have issues or have to get multiple surgeries because the first one was botched and it takes multiple surgeries to fix/repair it. Those stories get reported much, much more often because they're more interesting/entertaining to report.
^^ That's true of some people. Yes, some people resort to surgery with serious underlying problems about body image and of course there are surgeons happy to take their money knowing it will solve the problem only temporarily. Edited by - JigglyBoobs on 5/11/2015 7:10:15 PM
