Hi....

I'm ordering from Pakistan and i've been asked to follow an extensive verification process which involves me providing a copy of my credit card (front & back), credit card statement and some kinda id (passport/driver's licence).

Is this normal? Is it safe? Am i getting into something here? Isn't that all supposed to be private?

Any comments?

It's not unusual for international orders. I haven't used DVD-Depot since they don't ship to the Philippines, but most of the sites will have some sort of verification. You usually only have to do it the first time you order.

Yes, It is a common practice. As to safety, I can vouch that DV-Depot does exist in Canada and selling DVDs is their business. So not to worry here..

Don't expect you to have problems. If you have read through the country reports, even people in Saudi Arabia are getting their movies.
