Has anyone tried getting their money back for missing shipments from their credit card company? If so how did it go?

My orders from Adultdvdnow and Adultcdmovies that I made last month have gone missing. It seems like a postal worker is stealing my global priority mail. I used my Barclaycard and I was wondering if I could get my money back from them.

I have already filed a few complaints when dealing with unreliable stores. Here is what I would advise:

- contact the sellers to see if you can settle the matter with them directly. Normally, they should agree to send you another parcel or refund you unless the orders were seized by customs.
- file a complaint to the post office.
- if the sellers refuse to reship or refund and the problem has nothing to do with customs, then contact the credit card company (look for their fax number for complaints on your monthly bill) and fax them a letter explaining the situation as well as copies of email receipts confirming the orders, emails you sent to the sellers to settle the matter and possible answers. The credit card company should give you a temporary refund which will be confirmed after they mailed the sellers.

I ordered from dvd soon (see my thread) back in November, they shipped "supposovly" in January.
I waited for their time to be over, contacted them, and had to wait more months, still nothing, I then rang my credit card company and explained, i then wrote my CC company a letter with invoices, emailes etc etc as back up

a week later i got my money back from the cc company.

That's sound advice from the guys there; make sure you've gone through all avenues before trying to get a chargeback against the vendor. Good stores like AdultDVDNow will help you out, either with investigating the order, potential reshipping or collaborating with the credit card provider to confirm that goods were shipped in good faith. I'd certainly complain to the Royal Mail. No sense in being shy about these things!
