Hi first time posting here. My phone has porn - mp4 videos of various sites such as Naughty America, Bangbros, MYLF, Brazzers, 5KPorn or even japanese ones like Pacopacomama, H0930, C0930, etc.
Is it ok to have the above mp4 videos from the above sites on the phone when crossing the border between:
1. USA-Canada 2. Europe 3. Asia (Japan, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore)
These videos comes in useful in the hotel at night watching my own videos.
Will you be coming into the USA from Canada or the other way around?
Customs and Border Protection here in the USA has become a complete circus act. Don't give them any reason(s) to detain you. While the content on your phone might be completely legal in the eyes of the law, the law at the border is whatever the CBP agent says it is. That's the fucked up reality of what America has become.
I'd personally recommend skipping the USA if it's not critical. There are far too many instances of people being detained and jailed and deported for absolutely batshit crazy reasons. And it's not like they just turn you around and tell you to stay in Canada. They lock you up and spend weeks deciding what they are going to do with you.
Granted, it's Wikipedia, where the information isn't fool-proof... But take a look at Pornography laws by region I was pretty sure that Singapore is a definite "no". I was right. From the Wikipedia page:
Whoever sells, lets to hire, distributes, transmits by electronic means, publicly exhibits or in any manner puts into circulation, or for purposes of sale, hire, distribution, transmission, public exhibition or circulation, makes, produces, or has in his possession any obscene book, pamphlet, paper, drawing, painting, representation or figure, or any other obscene object whatsoever shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 3 months, or with fine, or with both."
I didn't look at any other countries you listed. Also, you can just google "pornography laws insert-country-here".

I may have to remove the video files from my phone to avoid any inconvenience. Wish Samsung has not removed the MicroSD card, otherwise I can easily pop out the card from the phone when crossing the border.
If you have a Windows PC or laptop, you can pretty easily back up your videos. Just use a USB cable that will mate with a USB port on your PC and on your Samsung.
1. Connect the cable to the 2 devices.
2. The PC will show a pop-up, saying that it is installing drivers for your Samsung. Don't proceed until that pop-up disappears.
3. You may see a screen appear on your Samsung, asking you how you want to connect to the PC. If not, see next paragraph. Mine has the title of "USB settings". Select the option that says something like "transfer files". Mine says "Transferring files / Android Auto". Mine then prompted me for the phone's PIN. Enter it. This is the PIN for unlocking your phone.
The "USB settings" screen may not automatically appear. On mine, on the home screen, I had to swipe down from the top, whereupon I saw a notice saying "USB for charging phone, tap for other options." Tapping that brings up the "USB settings" screen.
4. It may take a few seconds, but in the PC's File Explorer, under "This PC", you'll see your Samsung listed, just like any other device. Mine is labelled "Galaxy S23+".
5. Navigate to the directory where your videos are stored. You can copy them to your PC's hard drive. Or, so that you have a safe backup, to a thumb drive. I don't know where downloaded videos are stored, so you may need to do some Googling to find out.
I've done this on my phone only to upload some photos to my phone, which are stored in the DCIM directory. Not having poked around in too many other directories on my phone, I don't know how much damage you can do to your phone if you fat-finger something. So PLEASE be careful!!
I've never found a way to eject the phone from my PC, like one does with a thumb drive. So I've just disconnected the cable when I'm done. If you do find a way to eject the phone, please let me know.
