I've wondered this too, but it doesn't bother me and I don't really think about it. I suspect that a lot of the women wearing crosses are doing so because it represents a genuine belief for them. Not to be inflammatory, and I really mean that, but there is no other Western (or Westernized) democracy on the planet that has the level of religiosity that the US has. Religion, and specifically Christianity, is baked into the DNA of the US so it isn't surprising that many porn stars would identify as Christian.

On a related note, when I read Captain Jack's interviews it seems like a lot of models say they had a strict Christian upbringing. They way it's described sounds like they're talking about Evangelical Christianity or something similar. I contrast these frequent comments to my own experience where I don't know more than a few people who identify as a believer in any religion let alone one that requires such a strict adherence.

Or to put it another way, did you ever watch an episode of your favourite show and your favourite character did something completly out of line for the them that didn't make sense for their developement or the outline of the show so you just pretend that episode never happened? Well, religion is fiction too, so relgious people cut out the parts they don't like on the reg.
