Webmasters will have two options: to pay for a version that has none of the company's branding, or to use a co-branded version that shows Cruising For Sex's logo, plus their own. This will also include advertising. Gay Universe have officially signed on as the first partner in this project. "The last couple months have been a whirlwind ride, but we are excited to make this announcement to all of our current and future webmasters. This is a great opportunity, and we look forward to sharing it," says Griffith. "Our sex listings, long the backbone of our business, have always been exclusive to our website. We look forward to sharing!" This year marks the 10th anniversary of the company, albeit a bumpy ride in the last couple of months. After Katrina's devastation to New Orleans, the company was only offline for a total of nearly four days, and back up and running immediately. "We lost one set of servers at 4 a.m. that morning, and additional servers at 10 a.m. One server remained online another 48-hours before going offline," Griffith recounted. "That one remaining machine allowed us to get a message out to site visitors explaining the situation and promising them we'd return as soon as possible. Everything is up, and we are proud to say we survived and are flourishing." Shortly thereafter, CFS.com, LLC, the parent company of cruisingforsex.com, filed suit and is seeking unspecified damages from PayPal, Inc for breach of contract and for emotional distress after the online pay processing giant shut down an account designated for the assistance of CFS.com employees affected by Hurricane Katrina. CFS.com, which operates out of New York and New Orleans , is also seeking a declaratory judgment to establish that their use of PayPal was not in violation of the terms of use agreement, and seeks an injunction forcing PayPal to restore the account immediately. "We weren't using PayPal to sell dildos, porn, etc. The only use of PayPal on our site was in an attempt to raise donations to pay mortgages, buy gas, pay cell phone bills, and help these people and their families get back up on their feet," Griffith said.
