| Cumwhipper Senior Member  4050 Posts 3/04 |  Posted - Jan 15 2007 : 10:07PMA totally mind-boggling experience. My first time in Vegas, and my first trip to AEE - all in a 3-day tour package. First, I'll say that Rose Tours put together a kick-ass package - 3 nights at Harrahs, a Trade badge for the Expo (which gets you in before the throngs of fans arrive at noon each day), and a ticket to the AVN Award show. They really have their shit together. I recommend using them next year, if they do it again. There was a link right off the main splash page for the Expo. The Expo and the ADT party were by far the highlights of the trip. The AVN Awards show was a bummer - I was WAY far away from the stage, and was crammed into a tiny seat - not nearly enough leg-room for Mr. Cumwhipper! Random reactions from the Expo... Meeting and getting to hang out with Amber Rayne and Lexi Love for at least a little while were the probably the best things, but I got to meet a TON of stars and get a shitload of autographs. For me, the autograph thing was secondary, as I really just wanted to tell some of these girls how much I liked their work over the past months and years. The girls on the whole were amazingly friendly and welcoming, given the sheer number of hours they had to be on the floor signing autographs. They bowled me over. My impressions: Mike John - Had a great conversation with Mike - He's incredibly friendly, and appreciated my feedback on ADT. The ADT Party was lots of fun - got to meet a bunch of the ADT regulars - Skronker, Dick Fitswell, Den, Bill, Bob, Bauer024, bono-ONE, etc. - was a blast. And Devinn Lane mixed my first drink - how cool is that? Several stars showed up, including Lexi Love, Sasha Grey, Bobbi Starr (a HOT newbie), Katja Kassin, Gia Paloma, Michelle Lay and Tricia Devereaux. The AVN Awards show was anti-climactic (so to speak). I was happy that Hillary Scott and Jenna Haze won their awards, but the majority of the show just bored me. I'll probably skip it in the future unless I'm rooting big time for a particular star. Overall, a great time. Highly recommended! [Link] |
