McKenzie's still in the business. No longer with Club Jenna of course, and pretty much only doing girl/girl scenes, but she was on KSEX a few weeks ago making sure everyone knew she was still working. Cytherea was also on there saying she's slowly working on coming back little bit at a time. LOL Naomi on the other hand I think literally quit when she left AVN last year.
I think alot of it has to do with PR and the marketing that a contract girl gets. I've never been a contract girl, although I would have liked to have been.
I certainly wouldnt count Bree out, shes still an amazing performer.. she has done like about 25 movies in 2008 aswell as updating her website weekly. She may not have done as many films as in 2007... but she still brings the heat.
My answer would be better informed if I watched more features, but as far as I can tell Bree's career is following the projected path of a successful contract performer. She is as active as one could reasonably expect her to be. In my opinion, she is an example of a starlet that has thwarted the curse, unlike many of the names that have been mentioned. On the other hand, I can't remark on the quality of her A&E output since I haven't seen much of it. I often agree with you CJ, and maybe I would agree with you if I watched more of her A&E releases. Comparisons of work between the feature/contract snd non-feature/non-contract sides of the business are difficult unless you follow both sides. This statement applies to other awards as well.
