Both of these photos are 687x1024, so yeah, they're too big. ADT wants them no bigger than 600px wide. Sometimes you can get away with wider, but in general, you want them to be no bigger than 600px wide for everything to go smoothly. So, in this type of situation, I usually do one of two things: I either crop the sides of the pic using paint or photoshop or whatever to make it skinny enough, or, what I usually do, is I just shrink the pic by the appropriate percentage. Here's where your high school math comes in. 600/687 = x/100, you want to find x. So x = 60000/687 (or, in general, x = 60000/width of pic). In this case, x = 87. That's the percentage of the pic that you need. So in Paint, for example, I open the image, click on "resize", and type "87" in both the horizontal and vertical boxes. Save the pic, and this version of the pic is the one I upload. Works every time. There may be another way to do this, I don't know. But this way always works, and really isn't all that difficult. Try that and reupload the pics and see if it works. In "My Pictures" I hold my cursor over the photo I want to upload on ADT. This triggers the size of the photo to pop up. If it's (whatever number)x600 or less, I know it will be clear on ADT. If it's (whatever number)x(a number greater than 600) I know that if I upload it to ADT it is not going to be a clear pic... and will be a disappointment for those who want to see pretty women clearly.
