I got in touch with them about a month or two ago (before my laptop died out on me) and they are very professional, although a bit expensive. Looking at this list, things actually did turn out well. Minimal scammers but it still hurts when it happens.
I've gotten a few things from them and yeah they're horrible at responding. I got them because a performer I was a fan of shoots for them. For the most part they've been good, but in each one there's always been something that I specifically wanted and we talked about at length has including that wasn't actually filmed. It's really disappointing for the prices their asking and how much they tell you that yeah they're going to shoot that part. Stella Elle - I respect her for giving me my money back when she couldn't produce my custom. But I felt like all she gave me was lip service and wasn't serious about doing my custom. Never felt fully appreciated as a fan and thus I'm no longer a fan of hers. She initially told me 3 days to get it to me which turn to a month of excuses before giving me my money back. So, i would advise to proceed with caution when ordering a custom from her.
Same experience I had with them. Agreed to and paid for the custom video March 2020. Then covid happened. So yeh, totally understood the delay in delivery as the whole industry shut down. Communication and requesting updates was hard to come by. I was patient and understanding. When shooting resumed, they moved their business or studio to Hawaii which complicated things like booking and flying in their advertised model. So more delays and of course close to nothing as far as updating this customer. A year had past, i asked politely if my custom video was ever gonna be finished and I got the reply that the original model was not available anymore and that they offered a replacement model. So I declined as I wanted the original model. I asked for a refund and that's when they ghosted me. Several emails since April 2021 and no response. They finally responded last month after I emailed them that I was interested on another model that they had advertised. They accepted and apologized. Let's see how it goes. funny that they only answered when you wanted another model, but couldn't respond when you wanted to cancel, the professionalism in the porn industry sometimes is really abysmal
OK so in the "amateur" route (maybe not what you fine gents are looking for), I have had now MANY experiences ordering from a wide variety of DIY performers, and have come to these conclusions:
1) Anything on OnlyFans should be avoided. Twice did "long-standing" performers just got the payment and closed their accounts. Since payment on OnlyFans (or OnlySpam as it has become) for customs is via the tip function, there is zero garantee whatsoever that the performer will deliver. Basically it's a total gamble. Contact me via personal messages for names of performers who have taken my $$$, never delivered, and then blocked me so I couldn't contact them.
2) Other similar sites like Chaturbate and other webcam sites which accept tokens or tips should be treated like OnlySpam. Since the transaction is unofficial there is zero recourse if the performer decides to take your money and not deliver the goods.
3) I've only found that ManyVids is the reliable source, and even there, there are negative points. From experience, a performer can chose to block you if you did not carefully detailed out the finer points. However ManyVids' custom forms also means that you can ask them (MV) to intervene of your behalf to get re-imboursed the cost of the custom clip if not delivered.
One main drawback is that performers can change their base costs and extras at any time. For example after you have made various back and forths with the performer(s), once it comes down to actually using the MV customs form, prices have changed (which is why I always take print-screens first before any communications).
That's really the sad part actually. For month I was a "regular" for this one lady who charged "dirt cheap" and was deffinately up to trying almost anything. Then maybe 2-3 months ago she not only doubled her base price, but added all the extras which were included before. The result is that she is now not-affordable and I have to move on.
