Can anyone who has used custom4u.com please take about their experience? I am considering buying a clip but want to hear from others who have used this service before. Thanks in advance!
I haven't used it but I like the concept. I really like the idea of ordering a custom video via a cafeteria-style menu, where you can immediately see the price based on your menu selections. It seems like an "automated" system, so your experience will be determined primarily by the actual performer who manages the actual video production.
Virgo Peridot does excellent vids for very reasonable prices. Solo posing, but I think she will do harder stuff also. I basically hit the email everytime I see a girl with tweeter or blog that I like. It also helps to be polite.
^Thanks. I'm more interested in the $$ details of dealing directly, since you're saying customs4u is 3X overpriced. Did you (for example) get 10 minutes solo posing video from Virgo Peridot for less than $50?
I used customs4u to get an anal scene done the way I wanted. While the video quality is great, they delivered on time and billing was easy. However the scene itself was not exactly the way I wanted, the toys I requested were not used, the star may not have been experienced enough for the toys I wanted though. I feel that if this is the case an e-mail back to the customer asking for option 2-3 would be nice instead of just using what they had.
I attempted to order a vid through customs4u. The model I requested had an express delivery option, but not only did they not produce the video on time, they didn't make the vid at all. Customs4u was quick at getting me my refund but I haven't tried ordering again.

So, I ended up trying customs4u for 2 well known pornstars. One of them never made the clip and I was finally refunded. The other just uploaded a generic clip that was not customizwd at all - it was NOTHING like what I asked for. I was not offered a refund for that clip. I do NOT recommend anyone use this website for custom clips. While a good ideain theory, the way it has been implemented is a failure IMO.
^Who did you order clips from? I think it might come down to the individual performer, as to whether they have integrity and the wherewithal to actually produce a custom video, per buyer's specifications, in a timely manner. Apparently, the administration at customs4u doesn't care about the quality of the product, as there is no recourse for dissatisfied customers.
I don't want to drag anyone's name through the mud. I will just again say that both are mainstream and very popular pornstars. Agree that customs4u doesnt care. Their customer service is shitty and the clearly don't give a damn about their customers or else they would have: 1. Offered me an apology at the very least. 2. Tried to find out why the performer didnt make the video or just uploaded a generic one. 3. Offered at least a partial refund. Basically, their TOS says that once you download a video to view it, you are not allowed to request a refund. How the hell are you supposed to know it's a generic video unless you actually download and view? Given the outrageous prices they are charging for these videos (not to mention the addition fee they build into the price), there should be some level of accountability. Anyway, IMO, I would encourage anyone interested in customs to stay FAR away from customs4u.com If you are interested in a custom, I would try to find a reliable pornstar by word of mouth and cut out the middle man. You may be right but it doesn't matter if some performers do a better job than others since this company is the one taking your money and also taking a part of the profits then they are responsible for making sure that what a customer requested is in his custom video. I notice that nowhere on their site is it mentioned that customer satisfaction is guaranteed. The only time they guarantee a refund is if the video is not delivered by the date the customer requested. I know some people would try to get their video and also get a refund by pretending that it's not what they ordered but an solution would be for custom4u to watch the video prior to making it available to the customer. They already know what he asked for since they took his order. They don't even need to lose any money on the transaction since all they need to do is pay the performer only once they are satisfied with the product she offered them.
OK. But you are already dragging customs4u's name through the mud.How do we learn who is reliable/unreliable if people don't share their good and bad experiences? Doesn't this forum count as "word of mouth"? Or...Are you insinuating that customs4u may have just sent you a generic off-the-shelf video and maybe they have no actual connection with the pornstars, and it's a scam...and the pornstars are innocent victims?
My point is that in the end, it's likely the performers who are tasked with producing the video; the company merely serves as a go-between and money-handler. So, yes it does matter that 'Pornstarlet A', a mostly amateur and occasional pro, is an expert webcammer/soloist accustomed to shooting, editing and distributing her own stuff; while 'Pornstarlet X' is primarily a mainstream porn performer with limited equipment/expertise/experience in the DIY porn arena. If the performer is lame at videomaking and lame at customer service, no amount of cajoling or harsh tactics from the company can fix that.

Given how expensive custom videos are, I think people should know what they are potentially getting into. Since they are the one's accepting payment and upping the price for their service, I blame them before the pornstars. IMO, it is their responsibility to ensure the quality of the product they are selling, not the pornstars. Customs4u.com gets paid the full amount and then pays each pornstar at the end of a billing cycle (see their website for details). I am NOT insinuating it is a scam. I believe that the pornstars are the one's making the videos and uploading them, BUT it is the responsibility of customs4u to ensure the quality of the product they are hosting on their website - especially since they do NOT offer a direct line of communication with the pornstars themselves - you submit your custom request, but the pornstar cannot communicate back with you to tell you if they are okay or not okay with doing whatever. ^You might consider extralunchmoney.com. There, you have direct communication with the performers, and some safeguards such as an Escrow Payment System. I have contacted a few of their performers but have not yet ordered any custom video. But I don't think there are pornstars at extralunchmoney.com. So there's that.
