It's sad to see one-time AVN Best New Starlet of 2005 has been on a downward spiral for about 2 years. Cytherea's problems came from along time drug addiction to now being evicted from her apartment at 8 months pregnant, which is still sad. Cytherea's Mom shelled out $1780 dollars for a uhaul track and gas to ship Cytherea's stuff from LA to back home in Salt Lake City. The father of Cytherea's child is moving to Salt Lake City with her. I pray to Cytherea, she can get the help she needs.

It happens all too often for porn stars to not notice. Why the drugs? Why do they always feel the need to do drugs so much, and spend all their fortunes on heaps of rubbish. They earn a lot more then an average person, so should be able to put some money aside. Porn stars, stay away from drugs please! If you hate porn so much that you have to take drugs to do scenes, then you've made a terrible choice for your career.
Because many people are just sloppy with money. They only look at the short-term, not the long-term. They think 'yeah, money's falling out of my ass, I can enjoy life to the max' They don't prepare for the future, when anything could happen. My guess, though, would be that Cytherea may well have been taking drugs prior to becoming involved in the porn industry and the industry offered her a way of feeding her addiction. But whenever I look at Cytherea, she never looks very happy, which seems to indicate problems.

Drugs is a touchy issue in porn. Most pornstars do it, or have done it....yet they refuse to talk about it. I just find it so strange how acceptable it is for a lot of directors and productions to let girls do a line while they're there. I wouldn't like that if I were them, because it effects their performance, and not too many customers wanna see jacked up high girls "trying" to do a scene.

As a father myself i think thats a terrible way to think about a child. You should not have kids to try and fix up issues in your own life, your job is to sacrafice part of yourself to give them the best life possible. A child isn't therapy for your own issues. /steps off soapbox.
Jewel based on your experience in the industry do many of the girls (who are known for having a drug problem) come into the adult film industry with a drug habit OR is it something that slowly develops during their porn career? This story of Cytherea being evicted,pregnant and on drugs has surprised me somewhat, I didn't really expect this to happen to a former "AVN Best New Starlet". She is/was so fucking hawtt!!! Hopes she get better.
I sort of blame the industry for allowing any girl to piss on camera, thus totally stealing Cytherea's thunder. If she was allowed the sole responsibility to piss and pass it off as squirting, then she'd be in high demand to slash urine all over the set. Unfortunately now you've got everyone suddenly pissing. To make it worse, other girls turned against her, and to cope with this she took drugs. It was a natural progression.

LoL I would love to hear from other girls if her piss tasted/smelled different then other girls' piss on the set, cuz of the drugs. A couple of girls who have done scenes with her, have privately said the whole damn set stinks of piss by the time one of her scenes was done. I wonder how much JM pays the cleaning crew to get the stink out, after shooting one of their "squirting" titles lol. In all seriousness though, I am actually concerned about the child....if she's been taking drugs while carrying the baby, he/she could have serious problems! Kids are not a cure. If she is in trouble, the chances are that the child will be too.
I've read a lot of bitch-talking that other female performers did about Cytherea. Was it just jealousy? The irritation that a fake would garner so much attention? Or did she actually do something?
This is true but it's not like it really matters. At least 70% of people who have kids shouldn't. But then again, where would the world be without the baby mills?
I don't think there's a particular need to continue to throw shit on her , she's in trouble best thing we all can do is to wish her to climb out of them , all of them.
I sometimes think that Cytherea 'under-squirts' so that other fine squirters like Flower & Angela Stone can shine. But when I first started watching Cy squirt, this girl squirted clear across a large room in a warehouse and nearly drowned Rick Masters.
From what I've seen most of the time the girls end up getting into the party scene after porn as the door just opens for them at all the parties. Most girls come in fresh and leave tore up but that's their choice on how they intend on handeling this industry as it's not for everyone.
As I understand it Cocaine is very popular in the West Coast party scene. It's probably very easy for these young girls who move from Middle America to the Big City to get all caught up in the new world around them.

I actually got to meet Cy last December when she was feature dancing at the New Century Theater in SF.
