D.Wise has been around for awhile and though its unlikely he'll move much higher up as a stud for hire his work for Legend and Sticky video has been very watchable if only for his almost cartoon like looks and big dick smackdowns. No disrepect intended but he has a natural comic appeal. He's no Jack Baker(R.I.P.)but he has a flair. Some folks seem to work better on the internet than others and of course the relative anonymity. The website is: mackcity.com and he and his chubbier cohort bone mostly black ladies but throw a generous dose of fuckable white lasses as well. Be aware: extreme ghetto content and sensibility inside.
Ok the thread title says this guy is "the current go to guy for pro-am starlets". Can you give us some examples of these starlets (pics or links)? Also, have any of the girls that started with him gone on to more of a career in the biz? That would be neat to find out too.
Ok, how about Moxie Maddron, Freddie Elle, Jammin Jennie, Peaches LaRue, Cala Craves...I don't know if that fits your criteria? That is an example of the level he works with. What gets me ticked off is that Shorty Mac(who in IMO is too country and too thuggish) lands Nina and Kylie but there you go.
I'm not sure if being the "go-to" guy for a bunch of lower level companies and everything that goes along with that is really anything to brag about. I'm not sure if it's even 100% true. Have any girls that started with him gone on to more of a career? The short answer would be "yes" but don't misinterpret that. If anyone who worked with D Wise went on to greater success it wasn't because they worked with him, it was sort of in spite of it. He's no "star maker", trust me and it would be ridiculous to paint him as one. Girls like Jammin' Jennie and Peaches LaRue were either already highly popular or would have been anyway. Subtract D Wise from the equation and the results remain the same: they move on and gain popularity with their eventual fans. Especially in the case of someone like Moxie Maddron. Two more highly accurate words to describe this so-called phenomenon would be "coincidence" and "circumstance." He works with a lot of new girls and pro-am types because I don't see him being a strong enough performer to ever rise above that level of work. It's never been working with him that takes a fellow female performer to the next level, it's that lady's own talents. If anything, when D Wise performs with a new girl with any sort of future star potential, he drags them down. The truth is that every girl, future greats and one-time amateurs alike, have to start somewhere. Unfortunately for some, that's with D Wise. Think of all the girls who had to fuck Ed Powers when they first got into the business...if a girl became a superstar after that, would you honestly look to give HIIM the credit? [Link]

My problem with D. Wise is that he is always wearing this gaudy, pretentious, "DW" necklace in every scene. I mean sheez, dude --- get over yourself. This is porn and the models are being paid. Its not like you are some big mack daddy. I mean, maybe he really is, but fucking paid performers doesn't prove that.
You're asking a male performer not to be narcissistic ? That's impossible. I really think in order for a man to perform on camera he really has to believe that he is "the man." He has to believe that the female performer is not there for the money but for him. Otherwise, he may fail in his job. Being a male performer doesnt leave much room for self-doubt. Just my 2 cents... That's an interesting perspective Michael and I honestly never thought of it that way. You're right in that if he was limp all the time I wouldn't be complaining about a necklace! Sometimes it is all too easy to play "armchair stud". Edited by - tritone on 2/23/2009 2:50:02 PM Edited by - tritone on 2/23/2009 2:55:12 PM
