After the hundreds of both XXX and NON XXX DVDs that i have purchased i have come across my 1st case. It happened to Lex The Impaler 2 and guess where the bloody rot starts? Just as Monica Sweetheart is about to take an anal pounding the disc fails. Arghhhhhhhhhhh. | Bill All-Star Member 5334 Posts 6/00 | Posted - Aug 21 2004 : 11:54AM Becasue the problem only seems to happen to certain people (like me) and often happens to those people on multiple discs (also like me), the people at EA think that there may other things that cause the problem to manifest itself (like how the discs are stored, whether people live in a humid climate or not, temperature, etc...). Becasue of this, Tricia may ask you questions about some of these things. If she does, she's not blaming you for the problem. She's just trying to gather information so it can be compared with the same information from other people who have experienced this problem. As long as you have an EA version of LTA2, not one from one of the European distributors, send her an e-mail. What's the worst that can happen? She can say "no"? That's not going to happen. However, until someone wins that debate, making copies of DVD's is illegal (becasuse unless it is overturned, the DMCA applies). It is also a topic that is not up for discussion at ADT. I was going to e-mail Tricia as you suggested, it just so happened that i read her reply just as i was going to send my e-mail. The reason i showed some skepticism (Don't think their is much she could do) in my original reply is that owing to past experience 99% of cd/dvd companies never replace discs that are 1-2 years old even if it was due to a manufacturing fault. If Evil Angel are the 1% that will go out of their way to rectify the faulty discs then i am truly indebted to both them and yourself. Please don't take any offence as none was intended.
