Someone please help me with this one. Some 3 or 4 years back, I rented one of John Power's "Dirty Debutantes" videos ( I believe it was in the number 100 series somewhere ). I could swear that one of the "Debutantes" in this particular video was Danica McKeller ( AKA Winnie Cooper from "The Wonder Years" TV Series ), with her hair dyed blonde to hide her try identity. I found the resemblence nothing sort of shocking, and all the mannerisms seemed to be there as well to boot! I could not believe my eyes. When all was said and done, I further could not believe my ears when John told her, "I think you better stick with movies, G rated movies". Since then, I've heard occasional gossip that she had indeed done occasional experimental porn in the past. Can anyone shed some TRUTHFUL light onto this? I have always since wondered if that was actually her I saw in that "Dirty Debutantes" video. Has anybody else out there seen this scene? If so, can anyone tell me the actual volume number from this series in which this scene occurred? Am I the only one who isn't crazy here?

Vince Vouyer had a girlfriend that had an amazing resemblance to her. She was listed on the boxcover of Nasty Nymphos 16 as Winnie Cooper. She's probably the girl you've seen or heard of.
Thanks for the reply, but I have seen that one too, and it is NOT the same girl I saw in the "Dirty Debutantes" video. The one you mention is/was much more gregarius and big boned, though there is indeed a resemblence. The one in Ed Powers video was much shyer, had Danica's EXACT type of body frame.
Danica McKeller graduated (with honors) with a B.S. in mathematics from UCLA. "She even co-authored a math proof - new research proving an original math theorem - highly unusual for an undergraduate. In fact, she was the only undergraduate invited to speak at Rutgers University's biannual Statistical Mechanics conference a few years back." {taken from her website}
She has also continued to act, appearing in numerous series roles and guest starring (The West Wing was one noteworthy one). She also does theater, writes, produces and directs.
I find it difficult to believe that she would have the time or need to do any porn work while doing all this.
Paul Savino (AKA Paul Pffier) is definitely not Marilyn Manson; just a bad rumor started by some bad DJ. However, I still believe that the mystery "you better stick with G rated movies" Debutante, really could have been Danica McKeller. The facial resemblence, body frame, and all the mannerisms were, again, striking. And why the ironic "better stick with G rated movies" comment?!
It is just inconceivable that the woman in that video would be Danica ...I mean really - Ed Powers ??? Come on now!
The remark was probably just a joking allusion to her resemblance to Ms. McKeller. If not, that would've been an extremely ungallant and mean-spirited thing to say. Like him or not, Ed does not possess that kind of a reputation for his treatment of the women in his vids.

Bammia, I don't remember the girl you are talking about, but if she was in a volume in the 100s I probably did see it. I too doubt that it was Danica. As bright as she is, and the fact that she had done a mainstream show, really argues against it being her. The only reason I could think of for her to do something like that is if she was just a closet freak who wanted to try it. I doubt, though, that she would be stupid enough to think it wouldn't come out.
By the way, I took a look at that math paper and it truly amazes me how people can be that smart. I don't think is one sentence in that thing that I can comprehend. I watch that new show on CBS called Numbers, which has a math whiz who helps his FBI agent brother. The stuff he spouts sounds like gibberish. The actor said in an interview that in real life he is an idiot when it comes to math. He pulls it off though.
Dear JAGnLA, Likewise-I did not mean to sound rude either. As far as my mind being made up, well not totally. However, lets say I am probably leaning towards the 65-70% figure of having it made up, admittingly. Math brains do have tendencies to bottle up certain parts of themselves sometimes. Proposition: If the volume number is discovered, would you be willing to jointly view the scene? You could find a copy to view in CA., and I could do the same in MA. To have my mind totally made up I will need to see the scene again, (and perhaps discuss this with someone else who has also seen it),some four years later, if noone can shed any real facts on this. PS: Can YOU understand anything at all about her math theory? All French too me!

Have lived a couple of miles away from Fenway Park for the past 21 years. If I find the volume number l'll let you know immediately. Dear JAGnLA, Hello Again. I grew up in Burlington the first 10 years of my life. Went to Pine Glen School grades 2 and 3, The Union School for grade 4 ( which is now the Police Station next to the Public Library ), and the Center School ( the brick building about 80 yards up the street from The Union School/current police station ) for grade 5. If I'm not mistaken, that brick building now serves as part of the public works dept. As of a few years ago, the two baseball fields behind that building were still there. I also learned recently that my 3rd grade teacher STILL teaches elementary school in town, ALL these years later ( her last name is Burchill ), and my 2nd grade teacher is still involved with the school system ( her last name is Shepard ). Ever know either of the two? At one time I had a job in a music store on Burlington Mall Rd., across the street from the mall, about six or seven doors down from The Dandylion Green Restaurant. Are you old enough to remember the music store/chain I'm talking about? It was right next door to Tweeter Etc., which still may be there.
I fear we are risking a volley of "take it to e-mail!" but I do vaguely recall Mrs. Burchill...think I may have an older brother who had her in class. I went to Pine Glen, also - spent a good amount of time in Principal Stephen Preston's office cuz even if you were there for bad behavior, he always had candy available at his desk, LOL!
I worked in the mall and remember Damdelion Green and Tweeter, Etc., but unfortunately, I am blanking on the music store.
I have only been back twice since moving to Boston in 1987 and then L.A in 1991...I am amazed at how much it has grown and how citified it feels compared to the days when I grew up where we didn't even lock our doors at night!
Dear JAGnLA, the music store was Popcorn Records, a chain which started in Needham in the late 70's, and grew to about a dozen stores by the early 80's. Unfortunately they tried to match Strawberries store by store. They expanded much to quickly, and the entire chain wound up going bankrupt by 1984 or thereabouts. I only worked for them part time between 1978-1979. By the time you reached the Pine Glen School, the principal I had, Mr.Fitzgerald, had been promoted elsewhere in the school system in a non teaching role. The principal I had at the Union and Center Schools was a legend. Her name was Mabel Keating. She started in the system somewhere in the late 40's. She was a very strict principal. Perhaaps you or your brother may recall her. My father was a Dr. in town, and perhaps you and/or your brother may have known of him as well. This is getting scarry. Email route? Your call. Went into a video store to look at "Dirty Debs" boxes last night. They only had volumes in the 200's and 300's. Coincidentally, I saw a television program last night about Child stars of the eighties and they did a segment on Danica. It appeared to be about two years old, but it seems that she has done more work in both television and theater recently than I originally thought.
She was still very attractive facially, but I could not help but notice that she is extremely thin...anorexic, almost.

To be honest, I rarely reflect on ole B-town...dunno why, but I've only returned a couple times since I left for Boston and then L.A....but it was a great old town to grow up in...almost like a gentler, more innocent time and place...
Regarding More Dirty Debutantes 104 ... I used to have the tape but sold it, but the recipient didn't want the boxcover so I still have it. I looked it over and none of the girls has even a vague resemblance to Danica. I will thumb through a few other boxcovers to see if I find one with a picture resembling her.
