amarie Member 23 Posts 4/03	Posted - Apr 26 2003 : 10:21PM Hi, I've been reading the boards for awhile(just registered, how brave of me) but I'm probably still new here compared to lots of you so don't kill me if it's been posted before. And I feel sorta weird that my first post is about something so taboo. But being that incest is a theme that distributors just won't put out there anymore I am interested in finding a listing of incest themed movies and scenes from the Golden age or, hell, whenever. I really get turned on by this and have recently turned my BF on to it when I showed him Taboo 1, and 2. We would really love to find more to enjoy together. Any suggestions would be appreciated too. Thanks, and I hope to be posting more as time goes by if I'm not run off with this one. :) [Link]

The problem is that not a lot of the older films are out on DVD yet, and sometimes the fact that there is a bit of incest in the film doesn't come up. Only when it's a major theme through out the film such as the Taboo series. Thanks again! :) [Link]

In the list, look for the "taboo" titles during the 80's and 90's. I'm pretty sure that at least the first four in the taboo series dealt with incest, but I don't know beyond that. There certaily other 'taboo' subjects other than incest. However, in almost all of the 'taboo' series listings, there are some links to reviews and they may be able to help you as to whether the movie includes incest or not as a theme. A fair number will be on VHS format unfortunately, and I have no idea whether they will ever be release on DVD. DenverDon [Link]

That series, along with Taboo 4 starring Ginger Lynn, tops the list of Taboo-related videos that I am waiting, hoping and praying will someday be released on DVD. I can highly recommend both. Unfortunately, it's my opinion that it's not likely that Taboo American Style will ever go to DVD, UNLESS, the deal goes through with Hustler taking over VCA. When and if that happens, a lot of titles that VCA was reluctant to handle will no doubt go to DVD. [Link]

I can't say I am happy that things don't look good for a DVD release, but at least we have some small hope (which is better than nothing, I guess). By the way, that is a GREAT series!! I use to buy may VHS features created by Nibo Production. Why did Nibo Production stop putting out the features? [Link]
