I was at RLD today and all their upcoming releases (almost, not literaaly.) were by him. My point is for a guy who shoots so much porn, he dosn't seem to have the fan base or the cult of personality of say Mike John or other gonzo directors. Poorly shot, bad camera angles, not enough eye contact from the girls, fade to black immediately after the pop, cookie cutter scenes with paint-by-numbers positions - in other words, all the things that make porn boring. When porn is boring, it's horrible. The only thing that might make me rent a Luger movie is if he were to somehow coax Brianna Blaze out of retirement and get her to perform for him, and even THEN I might pass, because he might botch the job, which would be even more infuriating. And boy, do I ever agree about his jabbering during his POV blowjobs (with him as the recipient). Please shut the fuck up and let the girls do their thing without your constant yammering. What is going to keep this studio relivant in light of the changes and every Tom Dick and Harry trying to copy there style is the main formula that made them a Power House in the 1st place. That of course is the YOUNG hot girls. The RLD name still has major clout in the Industry,but now every studio you see has the same cover marketing and using the same girls.As a matter of fact its not the Directors that motivates the consumer its all about the GIRLS. If Rocco had all dogs on his Evil Angel Cover;a consumer wont buy it.Its all about these sluts.They move product plain and simple.Lock down that formula and you lock the Industry and throw away the key.
